Verses about losing salvation
This verse is talking about trying to please God or receive more grace by doing more works or trying to live up to the law.
Paul talks about why you can’t do that in Galatians 3:23-29
Paul says that to submit to the law is submitting to slavery.
Galatians 5:1
We have been set free from trying to be justified by the law.
We are not slaves to doing works.
It is only by faith that we are saved, not by works.
To reject faith by grace, is to reject Jesus.
You are severing yourself from Jesus but that doesn’t mean that He lets go.
This verse is talking about Gentiles being grafted onto the vine, that is Israel or God’s chosen people.
The gentiles were trying to argue that they were better than the Jews because they were chosen.
But the verse is talking about Jews that were unbelieving in Jesus so that were cut off from the family of God because of their unbelief.
Like we are grafted onto the vine because of our belief.
This is talking to non-christians that hear the words of the book of Revelation and either adds to it or removes from it.
That share on the tree of life is referencing the fact the Lord wishes that all would be saved.
That none would be lost.
2 Peter 3:9 This could suggest that everyone has a place in eternity but not everyone accepts it.
Verses for Eternal salvation
His faithfulness does not depend on our faithfulness.
2 Timothy 2:11-13
Some people were never really believers.
