The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 2 “The people of Israel shall camp each by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ houses. They shall camp facing the tent of meeting on every side.

What is God Telling Us About Himself?

God is with His people.

God is not watching from a distance.

God has tabernacles among His people.

Numbers Is Telling us an important truth.

Everyone of God’s People has a place with God

God is present in the very center of His people.

This is the big story of the Bible -

How can a holy God abide with a sinful people?

That only happens through God’s redemptive work.

What makes God’s people truly distinct is God’s presence in their midst.
