The last Blockbuster. One last one hanging on. It’s nostalgic. It’s cute. It’s a tourist attraction. It’s family, old school, relationships, so much good stuff that can connect to the gospel, “Blockbuster mom,” they are buying and experience, not DVDs. But here’s something that’s different… That’s NOT THE GOSPEL. The gospel will never go away or be on the brink of extinction. Jesus said the Kingdom of God will always prevail. It never loses power. It is never irrelevant. And there is always a remnant, not because it’s irrelevant, but because of our sin, but there is always the hope of God’s future. One day, it will take over.
