Title: Soul Food

1 Peter 2:1–3 LEB

Therefore, ridding yourselves of all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn infants long for the unadulterated spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up to salvation, if you have tasted that the Lord is kind,

when we think of soul food what

usually comes to mind is good

cooking and tasty food for special occasion where people

or family are gather together to

celebrate a festive time together eating and laughing enjoying one

another company I find that the main ingredients to this kind of

cooking is love and joy from receipts pass down from generation to generation food for soul that satisfy the taste buds and bring laughter to the soul. So it is with the Word of God, as we need food for physical nourishment child of

God, needs food for spiritual nourishment Psalms 34:8

Taste and see that Yahweh is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

Child of God, you must daily eat and read of God’s word in your

walk with the Lord, in building a strong foundation in order to grow. 2Peter 3:18

Here Jesus Christ is mention in

His preincarative Christ, the logus meaning the word became flesh. Word is life changing in and out of our selves, Hebrews 4:12

Peter is saying now in verses 1-2

which deals with our attitudes and speech clean it up let the word get in you as you eat of it

to clean you up and change you up. My Lord, we all need an attitude unjustment and language change .
