HOW MANY OF YOU WOULD SAY YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH SOMETHING IN THIS WORLD?
No one is immune from hard times. Rich poor race profession family.

13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, 14 I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.
We need to press on towards what God has for us and not let present troubles distract us and hold us back
When life gets hard sometimes it gets hard to hold onto God. Hold onto hope. Believe that things can ever be better. Trust that God still has a plan
people deal with those times in different ways.

When someone asks how you’re doing. As a greeting not an actual question.

SOME PEOPLE COPE BY DIVING HEADFIRST INTO THE FEELING
Deciding this is my life. Never Change. Make it my personality.
WE HAVE TO BE REAL ABOUT WHERE WE ARE BUT UNDERSTAND WHO GOD IS
When i’m not real abut where i’m at, but I understand who God is im in denial. And nothing will change. When im real about where at but I don’t understand who God is Im probably diving headfirst into the feeling.
In both situations nothing will ever change.
DECIDE WHERE YOUR HOPE & STRENGTH IS GOING TO COME FROM
you get to decide where you find your strength. When you need something done, you need the right person.
When there's something strange in your neighborhood who you gonna call?
If you need something built from wood, dont call me.
I can find hope in some queso and chips. Come on somebody. no matter how bad my day is, you put some queso in front of me and some warm chips and my worries are as melted as that cheese.
Show muscles vs functional strength
A lot of us want show hope without functional hope.
4 For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.’
22 Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO CARRY WHAT YOU ARE CARRYING
You don't have the strength so give it to God. He is the one who can carry and sustain you.

How often do we carry everything ourselves. You ever tried to get every bag of groceries from the cary in one load and dropped something?
And so often God is just waiting for us to hand over our burdens.
1 God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. 2 Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, 3 though its water roars and foams and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah
we should live in constant state of how do I give more of this to God?

WE HAVE TO SEE THAT NOW IS NOT FOREVER
It's easy to go through something and then just apply it to your whole life
