GPS - God’s Positioning System
We overcomplicate God’s will and under estimate God’s way
Col.3:23; Ps.1:3; 1 Cor.7:39 widows marry only in the Lord
Highway is God’s way, your lane is God’s will.
God’s will in God’s way is whatever
Samuel answered Saul and said, “I am the seer. Go up before me to the high place, for you shall eat with me today; and tomorrow I will let you go and will tell you all that is in your heart. 1 Samuel 9:19
But as for your donkeys that were lost three days ago, do not be anxious about them, for they have been found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you and on all your father’s house?” 1 Samuel 9:20
1. Purpose is bigger than problems.
Your destiny is bigger than your donkeys. Plan of God is greater than problems of life. What’s in your heart is more important than what’s on your mind
When you give your problems into Gods hands, He will put peace into your heart.
God’s peace comes from God’s promise
Philippians 4:6-7
Coming to the Lord removes the anxiety, staying with the Lord reveals His assignment.
Those who came to Jesus experienced miracles, those who stayed with Him became an extension of His mission.
Jesus invites us to Himself first before He enlists us into His service.
Samuel invited Saul to a dinner before reveal his destiny.
2. Transformation will happen through association.
Then the Spirit of the LORD will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. 1 Samuel 10:6
Your tribe creates your vibe 1 Sam.10:6
Your crowd creates your cloud Heb.12:1-2
Community conforms your character 1 Cor. 13:33 / 2 Tim.2:22
Association leads to impartation
Focus more on your group than your goals.
Psalm 1:1
Group provides influence. Influence works like flu (it’s caught, not taught).
3. Do what the occasion demands.
Then the Spirit of the LORD will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. 1 Samuel 10:6
And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you. 1 Samuel 10:7
When God doesn’t provide directions, it’s because has He provided you the Driver.
God doesn’t have to give directions if He provided you with a Driver.
When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you come under influence of the Holy Spirit.
Focus on delight in the Lord not on the directions from the Lord.
Psalm 37:4; Psalm 1:1-3; John 15:7
When God doesn’t provide voice navigation, read the signs.
Saul had three signs: donkeys, bread, prophesy
Sign of scripture, saints, spirit prompting, season
We always take turns based on the signs
When you don’t know what to do, do what the occasion demands.
God’s ability is activated through your action.
…do whatever your hand finds to do.
…do whatever your circumstances require
…do as the occasion demands
…do what must be done
…no plan, no formula, not in your dream board, not in manual
…when electricity is connected to the house - connect anything
