Easter!
In limbo
1. in a forgotten or ignored place, state, or situation
2. in an uncertain or undecided state or condition
3. a condition between two extremes
Trying to get the best of both world’s. An affair and marriage. Best of both worlds! I deserve to be happy, why can’t my wife get on board with it? She gave her all, in return for part. She is full time getting part time benefits. James 4:4-5
1. If we want full time benefits of Jesus, we must stop being part-time Christians.
Sitting on the fence means
- having enough of the world that you aren’t fully living for God
- having enough of the Lord that you aren’t fully enjoying the world.
“Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD! Joshua 24:14
And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15
Elijah challenged the people: "How long are you going to sit on the fence? If GOD is the real God, follow him; if it's Baal, follow him. Make up your minds!" Nobody said a word; nobody made a move. 1 Kings 18:21 (Message)
2. Jesus is worth of everything you are afraid of losing.
3. The best way to stop sin is to surrender totally to GOD.
What some call RADICAL, we see as REPLACEMENT! Galatians 5:16
Prayer // Samson or Saul? Judges 16:3; Acts 16:25
Purity // Samson or Joseph!
4. Someone is currently living in revival but unfortunately it might be your sin, not you!
I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. Romans 7:9
Why you need to pursue God?
Thirst. Created with it Psalm 42:1-2
Tired. Comes with responsibilities of life. Isaiah 40:30-31
Trail. Predator on your trail.
***Not only does water satisfy the thirst of the deer it also provides a way of escape as the deer seeks a stream or source of water that erases the scent trail.
Losing Tail:
Don’t drive towards your intended destination Determine if you’re being followed. Take 4 consecutive right turns. Don’t stop
