Jesus preached (Mt.4:17), taught (Mt.4:23), made disciples (Mt.4:18-23), healed and delivered (Mt.4:24).

Saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. Matthew 21:2

So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them. Matthew 21:6-7

Are you a donkey or disciple? The Ladder of Success:

1. SAVE Disciple saves others, donkey needs saving. You are either a missionary or a mission field.

Ways of Witnessing

1. Confrontational (Acts 2)

3. Testimonial (John 9)

4. Relational (Mark 5)

5. Invitational (John 4)

6. Serving (Acts 9)

2. DELIVER. Disciple delivers others, donkey needs deliverance.

And delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 2 Peter 2:7-9

Lot had relationship with Abraham and was righteous yet he tormented and oppressed in his soul, living in Sodom.

His bondage was rooted in his background (idolatry & fatherless).

He had relationship to Abraham but he drifted from Abraham

Lot follows Abraham Genesis 13:1

Lot separates from Abraham Genesis 13:10

Lot is between Abraham and Sodom Genesis 13:12

Lot dwelled in Sodom Genesis 14:12

He was released on bail but didn’t break free. Bail - the temporary release of an accused person awaiting trial, sometimes on condition that a sum of money be lodged to guarantee their appearance in court.

3. DISCIPLE: Disciple disciple others, donkey needs discipling.

Lot after his deliverance found himself in a cave, not community.

Lot produced offspring even though it wasn’t godly.

Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:19

It takes more than one person to disciple a believer.

It takes more than one step to make one into a disciple.

We are not making our disciples but disciples of Jesus.

4. SEND: Disciple is send to the world, donkey needs someone to be send it.

We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of this power will be seen as God’s, not ours. 2 Corinthians 4:7

God wants to sit on you.

Jesus is in you for you but He is upon you for others.

Filling of the Holy Spirit is for you but the overflow of the Holy Spirit is for others.

People you disciple you will have greater destiny than you.
