THE THREE MOST ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT DEMONS
1. WHO ARE DEMONS?
Where demons come from?
Spirits of evil men and women.
This is more of pagan belief because Bible tells us that spirits are waiting end of time trial after death they don’t roam around.
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, Hebrews 9:27
Disembodied spirits of pre-Adamic race.
It’s based on gap theory, that there is a gap between Genesis 1:1-1:2 “ruin / reconstruction”.
Gap theory is not taught anywhere in the Scripture.
This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, Genesis 2:4
Fallen angels cast from heaven with Satan.
Christians typically assume that demons are fallen angels, cast from heaven with Satan (the Devil) right before the temptation of Adam and Eve.
That scripture comes upon the foot of birth of Messiah Revelation 12:4-6 “His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth.
And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.”
The idea of a primeval fall of angels actually comes from church tradition and the great English poet John Milton in his epic Paradise Lost.
Demons are the disembodied spirits of dead Nephilim giants who perished at the time of the great flood.
There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them.
Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Genesis 6:1-4
Angels have wings (Daniel 9:21), demons don’t (Matthew 12:43)
Angels normally inhabit the “heavenlies” (see Eph. 6:12; Jude 6; Rev. 12:7–8).
Demons are earthbound.
Angels have bodies of their own, and do not normally desire to occupy another body.
Demons have an intense craving to inhabit a body (see Matt. 12:43–45; Mark 5:11– 13).
Only in this way can they gratify their evil desires and propensities.
And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits (Angels) and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling.
Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called.
[As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.]
And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offences.
And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.
From the days of the slaughter and destruction and death of the giants, from the souls of whose flesh the spirits, having gone forth, shall destroy without incurring judgement.
—I Enoch 15:8–12, 16:1 R.H. Charles
WE ARE NOT CLEAR WHERE THEY COME FROM; WE ARE CLEAR WHERE THEY ARE GOING!
Then He will also say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels Matthew 25:41
