Seminary Training

Emphasized modern rationality,
ie, to be able to give reasons for our beliefs,
give the proof of truth.
We didn’t give in to superstition,
or blindly accept things we were told.
or believe in things unseen.

So, what to make of Ephesians 6?

Armor

An ancient image, “outdated”, perhaps.
But what Paul recommends for our defense
for overcoming opposition
from whomever and wherever,
remains solid advice.
