Don’t Ever Ever Quit
Don’t Ever Ever Quit
Galatians 6:8–10 (ESV)
8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
“Never, never, NEVER give up.” - Winston Churchill
My encouragement to you this morning is simply this…don’t give up. It’s harvest season for you and your seed and we have a promise that we reap that harvest if we don’t give up.
Genesis 8:22 (ESV)
22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”
This is more than just a good financial principle; it’s spiritual law.
You can expect to reap what you sow.
The devil’s only hope in stealing your harvest is convincing you to give up on it.
There may be seed that you sowed at the beginning of 2022 that you’ve yet to see manifest in harvest. I’m here to tell you this morning that 2022 isn’t finished yet. In fact, the best is yet to come. We are about to see a glorious harvest in this nation that is the result of seed that has been sown. Harvest can’t be reaped without seed sown. We’re going to see it in our government and you’re going to see it in your life. 2022 is not over yet, and God will still do all that He intends to do in this year. In fact, here’s a word from the Lord through Brother Copeland from about three years ago that I believe we’re about see manifest in harvest.
“Those politicians that refuse my call to unite and become the United States of America and not just America, those politicians that refuse to listen, those politicians that continue the pathway of hate, I will remove them from their place and I will remove their influence from the record books and I will remove their candle in their families and I will remove them from office and put somebody in there that will. That’s what the Spirit of God is saying.”

What is our part? We’re to do what Paul told the Galatians. Don’t. Give. Up.
The devil can’t destruct you, so he will do his best to distract you. He will attempt to avert your eyes from the promise of God that’s getting ready to come forth in your harvest.
What we do with seed after it’s sown is of utmost importance.
If you are expecting harvest to come forth on your seed, you’ll pay attention to it. You’ll water it with the Word. You’ll protect it from any words spoken against it. When seed is sown and given what it needs to grow, it can’t help but grow into what it was intended to be. That’s what makes seed unique. It’s not supposed to stay in seed form. It’s supposed to grow! What often happens, though, is that we give up. We become impatient and ignore three important words in Galatians 6. “In due season.” You can walk away from a seed and stop watering it and not even realize that you were on the verge of your due season. That harvest was just around the corner. You might have not seen any fruit above the surface and ignored the fact that roots were growing strong and deep. Strong roots keep your harvest from being tossed aside by a storm. So instead of waiting and seeing the fullness of harvest on the seed we’ve sown, we make a cemetery out of what was ordained to be an orchard. If you sow seed, you expect harvest. If you bury it, you consider it a waste. This morning, I want to challenge you to sow your seed with an expectation of harvest. This isn’t just a check in a basket, it’s a seed in good ground. That means that harvest isn’t just available, it’s inevitable.
If you don’t give up.
One last thing. If you’re always sowing, then you’re always reaping. We should always be in a season of simultaneous sowing and harvesting. Don’t wait for harvest to fully come before you put more seed in the ground.
Today, we have the opportunity to put seed in the ground and rejoice with faith and gratitude that this is our harvest time!
