The broken family in need of some unity

Unity in the body of Christ

The Lord want to show you areas that our family is broken. Is the church community broken, Yes, because it is compose of humans that are broken.

Is your family broken? Some, very few are the ones that have being put together, not by craftiness of man, but by the power of God.

Walking in Christs’ unity will bring some of the most rewarding satisfaction we need and did not know that this would be the path.

The super natural ways of God are waiting for all of us to move within the unity of the Spirit.

The church is divided, but only because we live in a divided society. Sadly, the church is being reflected by a lost society when that was not God’s plan. God wanted us to bring unity to a society that so desperectly need it.

How can we bring unity when we can’t even bring unity as a church, how can we bring unity in the church when we can’t even bring unity in the family. If the church is broken is because our families are broken.

Thank God that he has place the desire to bring unity and I believe with it will come the super natural that we have read.

Ephesians 4:11–16 ESV

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

He gave us as a gift; Apostles, Prophets, evangelists, shepperds and teachers, gave them authority.

As prisoner’s of God. (prisoner is similar to binding as with a spell, enchaining). Literally a prisoner without rights. V1

It is expected from us to use the authority in humility and gentleness.

Bearing those we lead with patience.

You are a gift for the church to needs to have a goal of unity within the body.

Are Apostles, Prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers united in one cause?

For what?

Ephesians 4:12 ESV

to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,

It is my Job to build up the church, not to tear it down.

The church already is coming torn down. God wants to use our lives to build up the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:13 ESV

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

We have examples of the things people can do when they are speaking the same language. Gen. 11:5-6

Genesis 11:5–6 ESV

And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.

It is the responsibility of the church to build mature manhood in every man. Womanhood of every women.

Creo que al mecanico no le llega carros buenos, le llegan carros que necesitan servicio. Esto es lo que viene a la iglesia. Vidas que necesitan un milagro. Esto nos mantiene en negocio.

How is the unity with your spouse?

Let’s believe and surrender to the miracle this year. I believe this will heal things in your family.

Let’s look at some of the real people that we leave with. Ephesians 4:14

Unstable people. We live in very unstable times.

La persona se enoja rapido. A short fuse temper persona in an unstable person.

Pueden ser personas que crecieron en familias dramaticas.

Son personas que siempre quieren aparentar que estan haciendo mejor que otros.

Son personas con doble sentido.

Wind driven Doctrine. The church needs to be a sound doctrine church. v. 14.

Do you know that Christians as a religious group is the most divided group of religion. It’s because we are convince of our weak faith. Titus 2:1

But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine.

Why is this so important?

Because it is our foundation. Noone can change our foundation. We all need to build on that foundation.

What does the scripture mean wind driven

doctrine.

This is something that the wind brought, we never question our foundation in the past 2,000 years and all of a sudden we say that we need to change our doctrine to allow people to live and act a certain way. (This is the wind driven doctrine of our days).

Really, was our foundation broken? NO

The LORD calls me to teach sound doctrine.

God calls us to develop maturity in our life. How important is maturity in a christian. Ephesians 4:15

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,

The church now days is not interested in mature christians.

Everyone wants heaven without paying a prices.

God is interested in maturity, not church attendanceHOy .

Carnality is the state in which you please self over pleasing Christ.

A carnal man is a natural man according to 1 Cor. 2:14

1 Corinthians 2:14 ESV

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Questions? Do you look at life through God’s lense or yours?

You are not a mature christian because you carry a Bible.

Your are not a mature christian because you go to church.

You are not a mature christian because you serve in church.

You are mature because you can discern the things of the spirit.

Unity help us to mutually Equip each other regardless who the other person is.

Ephesians 4:16 ESV

from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
