Plucking the eyeballs from his sockets, the assailants then handcuffed their victim imprisoning him below.

Samson and the Philistines

Judges 16:21–22 NKJV

Warning to Israel what the end result of disobedience towards God would produce on account of wickedness in the world and the depravity of mankind.

Deuteronomy 28:53–63 NKJV

You shall eat the fruit of your own body, the flesh of your sons and your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you. The Plagues the Lord will strike the nations that rise against israel!

Zechariah 14:12–14 NKJV

The prophet of God stopping the plagues against Israel brought in through rebellion and promiscuity.

Numbers 25:6–9 NKJV

And indeed, one of the children of Israel came and presented to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 2 Kings 2:23–25 NKJV

Then Ehud went out through the porch and shut the doors of the upper room behind him and locked them. When he had gone out, Eglon’s servants came to look, and to their surprise, the doors of the upper room were locked. So they said, “He is probably attending to his needs in the cool chamber.”
