Do you ever want God to just lay out his intentions for you? Do you wet wish that there was a step by step program follow this regimen and you will be close to God. Do this and do that and you will achieve these desires, what God has for you. If he did that all we would do would be XYNZ there would be no searching there would be no relationship there would really be no trying we would follow a regimen follow a pattern and it would be the main to the end. God wants a relationship. Not a cookie cutter Christian.

He wants us to pursue Him. He has given us this plan, but He just says “come to me.” There’s no specific recipe. There are guidelines, but no cookie cutter recipe

Who were you before salvation? You were children of wrath, sons of disobedience. Fallen,

But now you are given the characteristics of God Himself

There is no substitute to reading and studying the scriptures

Steadfastness: Paul was stoned and when the brother prayed over him he was revived and he went back into the city to the very people who killed him!

Love- Agape. The love of God. It can only be experienced by those who have the Spirit from those who have the Spirit

You practice these, you will be good. If you have them and you are increasing, then you’re good

Nearsighted: the right here, right now I’m trying of me. We’re to get looking at the bigger picture. We are to keep our sights set on higher things. When you are failing, you are filling your life with cheap thrill. There is no substance, so you jump from o e thrill to another. You chase what will not fulfill you, and you wind up empty. Forgetting from where you once came.

Be carfule, Christians. Be careful not to slip into that pit. The sides are slippery.

Joyful entrance vs a consolation price. Those who grow humbly but joyously run to the gates. Those who are saved, yet full of shame hang their heads and slink forward I’m humility knowing that the wafted such a precious gift. The gift of life.

Are you going to hear “well done my good and faithful servant”, or are you going to pass shaking heads?

You must be pursuing God, you must be exhibiting His attributes. Growing in them day by day or you will regress. If you are successful, if you are growing in Christ, grow someone else along with you.
