Facts concerning Christians and money in America (Health Research Funding)
In 2000, American evangelicals collectively made $2.66 trillion in income.
Currently, Christians in America earn $5.2 trillion dollars, collectively (Health Research Funding)
It is estimated, $1-3 trillion in wealth will change hands every year within the Christian community (Health Research Funding)
Christians with financial struggles give more than those without (Health Research Funding):
Families earning less than $20k per year—8% of them gave at least 10% in tithing
Families making $75k or more per year—1% gives 10% in tithing
33% of Americans site financial struggles and debt as the reason they can’t get ahead in life.
If all of the Old Testament laws were kept, Christians giving would grow to $139 billion in available funding.
Within the United States, faith and religious services receive the most donations, more than twice as much as Education, which is its second (Giving USA)
