James Alberione

must have been reflecting on Heb 1:1 ff when he conceived the vision of the Pauline Family
On August 20, 1914, he founded in Alba
the Pious Society of St. Paul for evangelization with the media of social communication. This foundation was followed by the others to constitute the
Pauline Family:
the Pious Society Daughters of St. Paul (the Media Apostolate),
the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master (the Liturgical Apostolate),
the Sisters of Jesus, the Good Shepherd (Catechists),
the Queen of the Apostles Institute, known as the Apostoline Sisters (the Vocation Apostolate):
the aggregated institutes for lay men and women:
St. Gabriel the Archangel,
Mary Most Holy of the Annunciation,
the Holy Family Institute;
and for priests,
the Institute of Jesus, the Priest:
and the Pauline Cooperators,
those lay collaborators who share in the spiritual and apostolic life of any of the Congregations and Institutes listed above.

Each of these

forms an aspect or part of the vision for evangelization today.

Today’s Feast

Celebrates in particular the foundation of the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master;
even in this one congregation has varied ways to support
through prayer
Eucharistic Devotion
concrete action
Design
care
decoration
of the sacred space
the Divine Gift of the Eucharist.

Not coincidently

Care for priests
which makes the Sister Disciples
such an important part of my life
and the lives of all of us at Regina Cleri.

Each of us here

has probably been touched and made better by the care and devotion of these Sisters.
Please join me in thanking God for them
and ask that He continue to bless them with growth and solidarity
