Psalm 85:6 “6 Wilt thou not revive us again: That thy people may rejoice in thee?”
Can we reverse engineer revival? [You can tell when teens have spent time around Bro. John, they use the expression; reverse engineer.]
In reverse engineering, we:
Take something apart
See how it works
Aim to replicate
When we speak of revival are we admitting we are in need? Does something need to be wrong for us to desire it?
Revival: God doing something among many that he always desire to do individually among each of us
Meaning. I do not need to wait on you and you do not need to wait on me, but we can help each other along the way.
Psalm 85:6 “6 Wilt thou not revive us again: That thy people may rejoice in thee?”
Revival comes from the inside out.
Revival is needed continually
Revival leads to rejoicing in God
Hymn
4 Revive us again, fill each heart with thy love. May each soul be rekindled with fire from above
Would you join me in a prayer for a personal revival, that leads to others rejoicing from knowing Christ?
