Several years ago, the prominent pastor of a large church unexpectedly resigned in the midst of controversy. It created such a turmoil that one of the leaders of the church said that their services that day were not "business as usual, but to find the face of God."
An 18-year-old, reading this statement by the church leader in the newspaper, remarked to her parents: "I thought seeking the face of God was the usual business of the church."
