John 6:1-14, Jesus Seeks the Needy and the Lost.

Feeding the Five Thousand: Jesus knew what He would do. This miracle is in all four Gospels. God does exceedingly abundantly more. God performs miracles.

fragment: broken piece; something small. [John 6:12: When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost]. God uses scraps and broken pieces to make something beautiful. Jesus does not waste anything.

Luke 19:10: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

God is interested in laborers. Whatever we do, do it for the glory of God. [John 6:13: Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten].

Be faithful. God will reward us according to our faithfulness.

God helps the unnoticed. Andrew saw a little lad. God used him. God always supplies us with what we need even if we do not see what He is going to provide. God provided for Elijah by a widow with little means. The Holy Spirit is always with us. The little lad gave all he had to Jesus. God does not desire that anyone be lost. God is interested in what is left. [John 6:12: When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost]. Do not quit. Keep on going. Keep sharing the Gospel.
