Romans 1:17 (NASB95)
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “But the righteous man shall live by faith.”
(Galatians 3:11; Hebrews 10:38)
Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
1 John 5:4 (NKJV)
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Romans 4:17 (NKJV)
(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
Hebrews 11:3 (NLT)
By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
Romans 12:3b (NLT)
...Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
2 Peter 1:1 (NKJV)
To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
Galatians 2:20 TPT
My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!
PART 1: SUPERNATURAL FAITH CREATES SUPERNATURAL REALITIES
PART 2: SUPERNATURAL FAITH WORKS WHEN WE WORK SUPERNATURAL FAITH
Faith of Thomas vs Faith of the Centurion
The centurion had the type of faith that Jesus was looking for, and He hadn’t seen in all of Israel up to that point. What was the basis of the faith?
The Centurion put more authority in the word of Jesus than in the physical evidence. He understood God’s type of supernatural faith.

TRUTH

Mark 5:35–43 (NASB95)
While He was still speaking, they came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, “Your daughter has died; why trouble the Teacher anymore?”
But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, said to the synagogue official, “Do not be afraid any longer, only believe.”
And He allowed no one to accompany Him, except Peter and James and John the brother of James.
They came to the house of the synagogue official; and He saw a commotion, and people loudly weeping and wailing.
And entering in, He said to them, “Why make a commotion and weep? The child has not died, but is asleep.”
They began laughing at Him. But putting them all out, He took along the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and entered the room where the child was.
Taking the child by the hand, He said to her, “Talitha kum!” (which translated means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”).
Immediately the girl got up and began to walk, for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were completely astounded.
And He gave them strict orders that no one should know about this, and He said that something should be given her to eat.
SUPERNATURAL FAITH DOESN’T QUESTION, IT BELIEVES
Mark 9:14–27 (CSB)
When they came to the disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and scribes disputing with them. When the whole crowd saw him, they were amazed and ran to greet him. He asked them, “What are you arguing with them about?”
Someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you. He has a spirit that makes him unable to speak. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive it out, but they couldn’t.”
He replied to them, “You unbelieving generation, how long will I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring him to me.” So they brought the boy to him. When the spirit saw him, it immediately threw the boy into convulsions. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth. “How long has this been happening to him?” Jesus asked his father.
“From childhood,” he said. “And many times it has thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
Jesus said to him, “ ‘If you can’? Everything is possible for the one who believes.”
Immediately the father of the boy cried out, “I do believe; help my unbelief!
When Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you: Come out of him and never enter him again.”
Then it came out, shrieking and throwing him into terrible convulsions. The boy became like a corpse, so that many said, “He’s dead.” But Jesus, taking him by the hand, raised him, and he stood up.

APPLICATION

SUPERNATURAL FAITH DOESN’T QUESTION, IT BELIEVES
Mark 9:22-23 CSB But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’? Everything is possible for the one who believes.”
We can’t stay in the question: “IF….”
Mark 9:23-24 MSG
Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.” No sooner were the words out of his mouth than the father cried, “Then I believe. Help me with my doubts!”
NOT JUST IF YOU CAN….IF YOU WILL
Matthew 8:2–4 (CSB)
Right away a man with leprosy came up and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
Reaching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying, “I am willing; be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Then Jesus told him, “See that you don’t tell anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
HE IS WILLING
God is so willing that He:
Gave His disciples authority over ALL evil spirits, ALL sicknesses, and ALL diseases in Matthew 10:1
He sweat drops of blood in the garden, held on to the whipping post, and was nailed to a cross. And if He hadn’t have been nailed, he would have climbed up and held on to the cross too
Psalm 91, 103
Isaiah 53
PUNISHED so that I could have FORGIVENESS (Isaiah 53, Ephesians 1)
He conquered DEATH so that I could have LIFE (Isaiah 53)
He took on my SHAME so that I could have His GLORY (Hebrews 12:2, Romans 8:17)
He took my SIN so I could become His RIGHTEOUSNESS (2 Corinthians 5:21)
He was REJECTED so I would be ACCEPTED (Isaiah 53, Ephesians 1:6)
He was CURSED so I would be BLESSED (Isaiah 53; Galatians 3:13)
JESUS WAS CONSTANTLY HEALING AND PERFORMING MIRACLES FOR PEOPLE HE WASN’T SUPPOSED DO, IN PLACES HE WASN’T SUPPOSED TO, AND AT TIMES HE WASN’T SUPPOSED TO…BECAUSE HE LOVES PEOPLE THAT MUCH. THE ONLY TIMES HE DIDN’T OR COULDN’T PERFORM MIRACLES WERE WHEN THE RELIGIOUS PEOPLE WERE DEMANDING THAT HE PERFORM A MIRACLE TO PROVE WHO HE WAS…OR IN HIS HOMETOWN WHEN, DESPITE WHAT THEY SAW, THE PEOPLE HE GREW UP WITH COULDN’T BELIEVE IT WAS THE GUY THEY GREW UP WITH PERFORMING THE MIRACLES…AND JESUS LITERALLY MARVELED AT THEIR UNBELIEF.
SUPERNATURAL FAITH DOESN’T QUESTION, IT BELIEVES
WE MUST BELIEVE THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD REGARDLESS OF WHAT WE HAVE OR HAVEN’T SEEN IN OUR PAST OR PRESENT
Our disappointments don’t define God’s desire.
The Word of God defines His desire…His will for us.
Genesis 3:1 NLT
The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked ….. “Did God really say….?”
Our enemy is the one who questions God’s word. Let us not be deceived any longer!
SUPERNATURAL FAITH DOESN’T QUESTION GOD’S WORD,
IT BELIEVES GOD’S WORD
Hebrews 11:1 AMP
Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].
