We began our series on relationships and talked about how to “Re-Evaluate relationships”
We talked about how OUR relationship has to be strong with OURSELVES AND WITH GOD before it can be strong with someone.
We talked about the different forms of relationships.

We asked three questions to evaluate the relationship.
1. What is the Purpose? 2. Is this a Godly Relationship? 3. Am I practicing the Love of Christ?
1. What is the Purpose? 2. Is this a Godly Relationship? 3. Am I practicing the Love of Christ?
After we Re-Evaluate the relationships, I now want to do Today I want to talk about
RE-PAIRING RELATIONSHIPS.
RE-PAIRING RELATIONSHIPS.
Because After you understand the purpose, Understand what a Godly relationship looks like, and understand the Love of Christ, it will make you look at relationships differently.
ALSO BEFORE THERE CAN BE RESTORATION, THERE HAVE TO BE REPARATIONS.
A fun fact about me is that I aspire to be a contractor one day. I love houses. I love everything about building houses.
I love building houses from the ground up. Having a small plot of land and a vision would do WONDERS when it comes to house building.
As much as I like building houses though, I like even more repairing houses. Seeing something that is old and worn down. coming in to fix floors, and walls and so much more.
to see something go from nothing to something is crazy.
But before I ever repair, I have to evaluate and re-evaluate, then repair, then the restoration comes.
This is the same in relationships.
After Re-Evaluation, comes Reparations.
Here’s the thing. Reparations are not easy. Sometimes it’s much easier to build from the ground up.
Who in here has had, has, or is having a problem in a relationship?
Let’s talk about it.
In Repairing relationships
we first of all have to undernd
TAKE GOD WITH YOU
TAKE GOD WITH YOU
everything that I’m about to tell you may require the help of the Lord. Some of this, we do not have the strength to do on our own.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
You need the Lord.
Be HONEST with YOU
Be HONEST with YOU
Where did I go wrong?
Humility is KEY
First pride, then the crash—
the bigger the ego, the harder the fall.
ONE OF THE KEYS TO AN UNRESOLVED RELATIONSHIP IS PRIDE. YOU’RE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT. You’re human, You mess up, You are an imperfect person in an imperfect temple, You’re going to mess up.
The problem is that you call right wrong and wrong right.
It wasn’t your place to tell that girl that
It wasn’t your business to tell
You spoke out of turn
You can be a little messy
You know you can be negative sometimes. Quit playing.
BE HONEST AND ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR WRONG
BE GRACIOUS WITH THEM
BE GRACIOUS WITH THEM
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Be gracious with them because God was gracious with you.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Reparation is a process. (it does not happen overnight)
Reparation is a process. (it does not happen overnight)
Before you go out thinking that one conversation will do it, It may not. Reparations take time.
(I remember the house I did a repair on here. I wanted it done fast so I was wanting to paint the walls and do the floors.)
I was told I had to wait on the paint to dry first. I asked why and my painters told me I didn't want to run the risk of ruining the floors trying to paint the house because of doing it quickly.
some of you have ruined relationships as a result of trying to rush the process.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.
It takes time to repair relationships.
You can only do, what you can do.
What can you do?
