Mark 16:1-8 // Trauma of experience - The trauma of experience makes us fearful of experiencing that again

No hope for resurrection. People coming back from the day was as common as it is today–Non-existent
Finality!--Hope was possible when Jesus was still breathing. No Sleep since Thursday
They wouldn’t kill a good man. Luke 24:21 - But we hoped he [would have been] the one to redeem us.
Imagine the devastation. // When hope evades, emotions change.

Responses not matching problem. - Crystal // Comfort over Confront

Mark 15: 32- “He saved others; he cannot save himself. Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross that we may see and believe.” Those who were crucified with him also reviled him.

EVERYONE WOULD HAVE BELIEVED IF HE WOULD HAVE DONE THE IMPOSSIBLE

WE’RE STILL WAITING FOR JESUS TO DO SOMETHING INCREDIBLE SO WE CAN BELIEVE

If he didn’t die, MANY would have believed but the total problem nOt resolved.

1 COR 15:12-19-Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain (Pointless!). 15 We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. (you are still facing your greatest problem) 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 IF IN CHRIST WE HAVE HOPE IN THIS LIFE ONLY, WE ARE OF ALL PEOPLE MOST TO BE PITIED.

<<KEYS BEGINNING>>

1 Cor 15:20 MSG - If all we get out of Christ is a little inspiration for a few short years, we’re a pretty sorry lot. But the truth is that Christ has been raised up, the first in a long legacy of those who are going to leave the cemeteries.

hope always for eternity, NOT JUST TODAY.
THINKING IN THE IMPLICATIONS OF ETERNITY.

Long Walk to Freedom- CERTAINTY OF DEATH

GOOD FRIEND’S THOUGHTS ON DEATH- JUST BE THE BIGGEST/STRONGEST FIGHTER

Romans 6:5- For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Romans 6:9-11- We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. 10 For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 11 SO YOU ALSO MUST CONSIDER YOURSELVES DEAD TO SIN AND ALIVE TO GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.

To those who are already followers of Jesus,
To those who don’t
