We see Christ in His ministry of restoration.
We see Christ in identification (in order to identify He comes with a mission and fulfills it by leaving the palace and going to the poor)
We see Christ in humiliation (depending on God in prayer over enemies, weakness, etc.)
Everything is restored except for the king; THE King is coming!
To restore a nation, a church, or an individual we need a God-called preacher not a politician.
Here are the REASONS why:

I. The Preacher Opens The Book. v.5

He is not ashamed of the Book.
“in the sight of all the people”
He is not the Author of the Book.
He is to preach what God put on his heart, not what rattles in his head. (Nehemiah 7:5)

II. The Book Opens The People. v.6

We see their humility.
“they bowed their heads”
We see their honour.
“worshipped”
We see His Holiness.
“the LORD”

III. The People Understand The Book. v.8

It must be read.
“So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly” (Revelation 1:3)
It must be real.
“and gave the sense” (1 Timothy 4:14)
It must be revealed.
“caused them to understand the reading” (Luke 24:27, 44-45)

Conclusion:

Would you like to be restored?
