This Week’s Theme: Thankful for Being Redeemed!
This Week’s Word is Redemption: It is the buying back or release of an object or person. In Scripture redemption refers to God’s ransoming of believers only through the death of Jesus Christ upon the cross and to all the benefits that this brings.
Memory Verse: Titus 2:14 “14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”
Essence of the Text in a Sentence: Paul explained the result of saints redemption by Christ.
Sermon Proposition: Christian should be thankful for what Christ has done for us, to us, and to us.
Sermon Objective: I want those in attendance to receive God’s gift to the world, if they have not, and to be thankful for the freedom found in Christ.
Sermon Text: Galatians 4:4-7
4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
27 “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.
35 Jesus wept.
