We have weekly to be able to come to worship you in the studying of your word and the turning to you, your expression in scripture, your love, your care, your consideration has been marked out for us.

It has been etched in Scripture that I might be etched in our hearts, as well.

Lord of your Everlasting concerned towards us and we thank you for that.

We pray that you would be with us this morning.

James 31, my brethren.

Let's not many of you become teachers knowing the we shall receive a stricter judgment.

Now we've recently reviewed the history and timeline of the Book of James and we've engaged and and Emerson history from the text of the New Testament about what was happening at the time.

The Book of James was recorded And conservative non-liberal scholarship is in agreement that James penned this important epistle.

There has never been a season of Breaking false teachers upon the world and upon the church continuously without cessation It has been the case.

So we moved from the history of the church in scripture to a review of the reputations of false teachers through scripture.

And here's what we have reviewed, so far.

First, we saw that there were Old Testament, prophets warning against false teachers, who lead astray.

We were reviewed those scriptures when we saw that Jesus Christ, himself, warned against and kundera and false teachers.

We see it's significantly in freeways.

First he opposed legalism and hypocrisy legalism and hypocrisy.

Go to say, do what I say, not what I do.

The Pharisees who put great burdens upon others and yet took immense liberties with themselves as they created a legal loopholes in which they could walk.

Uncaring Lee with complete disregard to the law while expecting everyone else.

We didn't know the loopholes in the ins-and-outs to be under that burden.

And we see that thirdly, the Lord Jesus Christ, warned, his followers against these teachings.

So he opposed the legalism hypocrisy, he identify the false teachers, and he warned against the teachings themselves.

To the followers that his sheep might know that they might have discernment.

They might have wisdom that they might not be duped by those who would seek to steal and destroy

It's self-condemned the false teaching Resort in the history of the church cuz we went through just that portion of early history that showed us what was going on with James and how he was the leader of the early church.

And even those few passages, time and time and time again, we came across condemnation of that false teaching as we get into the New Testament.

We see the Paul urges avoiding false teachers, avoid them, mark them out.

Do not listen to them, do not pay attention to them.

Avoid is the right way to deal with someone who is teaching what is wrong.

They're teaching, what's wrong?

What's right?

Is to avoid them.
