Jacob contemplated a big move to Egypt. But was this God's will for him? He sought God at Beersheba. The Lord told him He was with him and would make him a great nation in Egypt. God hasn't changed since then. We can know God is with us today. Jesus told his disciples He would be with them as He sent them out to the nations. And we are commissioned to the same work!
