When we have experienced the blessing of God’s miraculous (life-changing) love, and we have a dry well that has been replenished – we have a cup that has been filled to running over – we realize that this reservoir has been given to us as the source out of which we might love and serve others. In fact, one of the most telling characteristics that we are truly living in the spirit of Christ-honoring community is our capacity to love without expecting anything in return.
