Sermon Tone Analysis

Hi most of you already know me and if you don’t my name is Kati And today want to go over something that to me is just amazing to me if you have your bible turn to Luke 15 :11 and it says

all so most of you know when most people die they have I will and their will will give all their stuff away to family, friends or someone who needs it, But back then us the oldest child gets everything they get the land they get the house they get everything and the youngest gets some money so the youngest son asked for his part of the will early and his father gave it to him and then he packed up his stuff and left as quickly as possible and so I’m going to continue the story

so when he left and spent the money that he got from him father and he wasted it and he spent all of it and now he is broke so he goes and he talks to someone in town and he gets a job feeding livestock and I don’t know if you have been around livestock but they stink and I’ve seen what some have to eat no thank you I would not like to even be around livestock, but because of the famine he had to eat the scraps of food that they did not eat which is just Ruff and he got tired of that life and he thought my fathers servants have a better life then me and he thought that he would go back to his father and beg for forgiveness and maybe he would hire him as a servant cuz he knew that he was no longer worthy to be his son.

And so continuing it says

I find this last part amazing cuz he went back and begged for forgiveness and not only does his father forgive him he does not hire him to be a servant he takes him back as his son and he forgives him and he celebrates that he has his son back he holds a big party just because he has his son back.

And I love this because when we stray away from God when we sined against him he is there and he forgives us every time.

And I know a lot of people have I hard time with that they think why would anyone forgive me I have mess up so much stuff and I can never be forgiven or some people could say I sined against god how can he how can he ever forgive me.

And guess what HE DOES! he forgives you it doesn’t matter what you have done it doesn’t matter what you will do if you ask for forgiveness he will forgive You you might think she can be talking about me she doesn’t know what I have done your right I don’t know but he doses and he has already forgiven you and he is waiting for you with open arms for you so.

go knowing that you are forgiven go knowing that not only does he forgive you he celebrates when you are found go make disciples because knowing that you are forgiven and someone cares about them might be the push they need to bring them to god but that is not the end of the story

so the older brother is so jealous and so angry that he refused to even go out and celebrate with his family even when his father comes and talks to him he just snaps and yells at him just to show how upset he is and the father response

so the after the father dose address that he has always been there and be even says that everything he has is his but his son just returned and his son is now saved so you have to celebrate because he is saved he has returned with his faith stronger than ever.

And that to me is amazing there have returned to their faith and some people never do some people will leave the church and never come back even tho they have already been forgiven and all the have to do is come back and ask for forgiveness but they never do that is why we have to celebrate when people who have left come back because what if it never happened what if they never came back they would never get to feel the love of god ever again.

Now the band is going to come up and I just want to soak In how great and forgiving our god is let us pray.
