Death is strong
Love is as strong as death the Bible says
John 3:16 KJV 1900
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Love overcame death
Accepting the Love of God allows us to overcome the power of death, sin, and destruction
Romans 5:8 KJV 1900
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Love conquered the cross
Hebrews 12:2 KJV 1900
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Love endures
Love made it possible for you to be saved and sealed unto the day of redemption
God’s love conquered death for you
Love brought Jesus to the earth
to the cross
to the grave
to the resurrection
Lacking love for the Lord will always make it hard to surrender your life to the Lord
Your love to the Lord is proportional to your service to the Lord
Loving the Lord brings us to loving each other
The nature of love is giving
John 15:13 KJV 1900
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Many things I do through the week I don’t want to do - but because I love the Lord I serve Him
The other night there was a sink full of dishes
Love = free flowing emotional verbal sacrificial expression of resources and affection
When we love the Lord right there is nothing that could be asked of us that is too much
Love stronger than death
When we are not moved by love we will not be moved to service, or to worship, or to giving
We love Him because He first loved us
Why did God pursue you - He loves you
Do you remember the day you were saved?
Were you thankful for God’s love, did you sense you were taken by Him in love?
Romans 8:35 KJV 1900
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:36–39 KJV 1900
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
vs 37 He loved us...
If we don’t meditate on His love we cannot fully understand that we are more than conquerors
Stronger than any tribulation
Than any stress
Than any persecution
More filling than hunger
More warming and comforting than anything our body can
Stronger than any dark spiritual force that will ever oppose you
1 Peter 4:8 KJV 1900
8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
Cover the multitude of sins
everyone here has messed up
God has blanketed you with His love and as you meditate on that love you will want to cover other’s in their inadequacies
1 Corinthians 13:4–8 KJV 1900
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Love makes you a forgiver
If you cannot forgive you do not love the Lord
Proverbs 10:12 KJV 1900

Genesis 37:28–29 KJV 1900
28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt. 29 And Reuben returned unto the pit; and, behold, Joseph was not in the pit; and he rent his clothes.
