1. Our God draws near to us as we worship Him. John 12:32 32
32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”
2. Our God is great & Worship of our praise. 1 Chronicles 16:24
24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
3. Our God is seeking Spirit and in Truth worshippers. John 4:23
23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.
4. Our God desires His creation’s praise. Psalm 150:6
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
5. Our God desires sacrificial praise fruit. Hebrews 13:15
15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.
6. Our God is mighty to save in us singing to Him! Zephaniah 3:17
17 The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
7. Our God’s marvelous works in our lives is worthy of praise . Psalm 96:3-4
3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! 4 For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.
8. Our God makes is revered through our worship. Psalm 99:4-5
4 The King in his might loves justice. You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. 5 Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he!
9. Our Worship reminds us of the reason to be joyful – because we are God’s people. Psalm 100:1-3
1 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! 3 Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
10. Our God receives our True worship – the offering of ourselves as a living sacrifice. Romans 12:1
1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
