“And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
What do you worry about?
anxiety and worry are at an all time high in our society. Our culture is filled with sleepless nights, nervous break-downs, stomach ulcers, & crippling depression. Youth are worried, the elderly are worried
educated worry
Eccl. 1:18 “Because in much wisdom there is much grief, and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.”
The rich worry
Lk. 12:17 ““And he began reasoning to himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?’”
The poor worry
We worry about the past, we worry about the future, etc...
Worry is useless!!!
Why is so worry so harmful?
What should we not worry about?
What we have no control over.
What we have control over.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
HOW TO CONQUER WORRY!
HOW TO CONQUER WORRY!
Forget The Past
Forget The Past
Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
1 Tim. 1:13 “even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief;”
Phil. 3:14 “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
Live In The Present
Live In The Present
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matt. 24:42-44 ““Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. “But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. “For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.”
Eph. 5:15-16 “Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.”
Side Note: accept who you are. Matt. 25:14-30.

Repent & Pray
Father, thou gave me this day. I have done the best I could with it. If I have made mistakes forgive me. And if I have won any victories, I humbly give thee thanks. It was gracious of thee to give me this day. But, Father, for good or for bad the day is over and I am through with it and I am giving it back to thee. In Christ’s name. Amen.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
Prayer
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
recognize the Lord is near!
give it to God in prayer!
