What will desperation for God do for me?
When we get desperate for God to fill us, He will fill us.
When we get filled with Heaven, Heaven will start to invade & saturate our world
11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household.
The presence of the Lord saturating everything brings blessing to everything.
It’s not about just going to church, it’s about having His manifest presence EVERY day
Things that attract God’s Presence:
True worship
Doing things big enough that they require His strength
Holiness
Faith
Hunger & Thirst
When we get desperate FOR God, we will catch His heart & start to get desperate to be USED BY God!
We want to make a difference in a lost and dying world.
17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
Grab on and Don’t Let Go!:
Grab on and Don’t Let Go!:
The desperate grab onto the availability of Heaven & will not let go.
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. 25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
