FOCUS (the core of the content to be communicated)
So often we are brought to our knees by the realization that God alone is God alone & that God alone can always do whatever needs to be done.
We can’t.
But God can.
Always.
No exclusions.
No exceptions.
No worries.
With you I find myself sometimes wrestling with this reality.
Of course, the struggle is always on our end, not God’s.
He really can do anything anytime anywhere any way with anyone He so chooses.
And of course, that includes you & me.
May God by His Spirit give us a greater, deeper & more meaningful understanding of just what He means when He says, “all things are possible.”
Again, while there are some things God won’t do, there’s nothing God can’t do!
Knowing that with God all things are possible, we must …
1. not take it to mean He will do whatever we want.
Yes, this is a promise from God. No, it’s not some kind of VIP pass given to
His children for them to a live a selfish life of comfort & ease.
/ Matthew 19:26
2. believe it really means God can do anything.
Everything God intends to do is doable for Him.
/ Matthew 19:26 (Luke 1:37)
Making It Real
1] Do you see the importance of not taking any verse out of context?
2] Are you convinced God can do whatever needs to be done?
Action Step
Write down at least one, if not more, situation(s) in your life where you need to be reminded that no matter what, God is able to accomplish what concerns you or a loved one today.
Make it / them a focus of your “my confidence is in God” prayer.
