Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think...

Supernatural faith must live with a renewed mind.

Titus 3:5 (NASB95)

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Ephesians 4:23NLT - let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.

The renewed mind, and the life of faith, sees life from a different perspective. It looks at a natural situation that is hopeless, through the lens of heavenly hope

Romans 4:17 NKJV

…God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Romans 4:18 AMP

[For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be.

THE RENEWED MIND, and the life of faith, looks at what man says is impossible and sees through the lens of possibility.

Matthew 19:26

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Mark 9:23 AMP Jesus said to him, “[You say to Me,] ‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!”

The renewed mind understands and demonstrates the life of the Kingdom here and now on the earth.

1 John 4:17

because as He is, so are we in this world.

Living a life of faith is to live in the renewed mind that understands and demonstrates the life, love, and power of Jesus to the world around us.

Colossians 2:6–10 (CSB)

So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in him, being rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude.

Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elements of the world, rather than Christ. For the entire fullness of God’s nature dwells bodily in Christ, and you have been filled by him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

Jesus came PREACHING and DEMONSTRATING the Kingdom of God is at hand. KING-DOM

2 Tim 3:5 – Having a FORM of godliness, yet denying His power…avoid people such as these.

Living a life of faith with the renewed mind understands and believes what Jesus paid for on the cross:

Isaiah 53:3–5 (NASB95)

He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; ...Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried...But He was pierced through for our transgressions,He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.

Hebrew word for ‘sorrows’ – means sickness

Hebrew word for ‘grief’ – means pain (physical and mental/emotional)

Isaiah 53:4–5 (CSB)

Yet he himself bore our sicknesses, and he carried our pains; but we in turn regarded him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.

sōzō - “Salvation” – Forgiveness, healing, and deliverance…to be made whole in spirit – soul – and body.

Psalm 103:1–4 (NKJV)

Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

APPLICATION

Supernatural faith lives with a renewed mind, and operates in and under the authority of Christ

Faith doesn’t deny the existence of problems, it just denies their right to influence, dominate, or control our life.

Matthew 10:1, 7-8

Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.… And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Matthew 28:18–20 (NASB95)

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Mark 16:15–18 (NLT)

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

I will give you the keys (authority) of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth will have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth will have [already] been loosed in heaven.

“Let the faith of God be in you! Listen to the truth I speak to you: Whoever says to this mountain with great faith and does not doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,’ and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—be convinced that you have received it and it will be yours.

FAITH OF CENTURION – MAN IN AND UNDER AUTHORITY…We can walk in the authority of Christ to the degree that we are surrendered to the authority of Christ.

True Spiritual Authority comes from intimacy with Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Only by being with Him, letting Him show and reveal His love to us and the realities of everything that has been forbidden and also released in heaven can we then walk in the authority to forbid and release…to boldly speak to the things of the inferior kingdoms to submit to the Kingdom of God and it’s realities here on the earth.
