3. We starting chapter 3. This evening I'm just morning. Most people and vision of the church to be a a very stable and together a group of people who have everything under control. But the truth is churches are a very messy place because people come to church with all of their Messes in with all of their baggage branded branded the Lord Works in all of our lives and cleans up our messes and removes the baggage or takes the baggage from us but that takes time. And sometimes sometimes we're just not willing to surrender, do all the work that God desires in our lives. So we we keep on and hold onto little messy things in our lives. And so the church, the church can get messed with. We've seen as we've jumped into the book of 1st Corinthians that the church in Corinth was messy, they had issues, they had struggles, We learned in Chapter 2 that there's two kinds of people in the world. There is the natural person which would be the unsaved or the non-Christian person and then there's the spiritual person who is the saved or the Christian person here in chapter 3, we're going to learn that. There's two kinds of Saved people. There's two kinds of Christian, there's mature and immature and so he's he's defining things and laying things out and describing things getting a car. Our minds and our hearts focused, rather than just saying, stop this do this, he's laying things out for us. And so here in chapter 3, we learned that there's a few different kinds of Chris. Just read the first part of our tax Chapter 3 of 1st Corinthians, beginning and verse 1. He says an eye brother and did not speak to you as to spiritual people, but as to carnal us to babes in Christ, I fed you with milk and not with solid food for until now. You were not able to receive it and even now you're still not able where you are still carnal or where there is envy and strife divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like they're men or 11? Says, I am appalled. And another I am of Apollo's. Are you not know? Father, as we open your word, it is our desire to grow into understand father. We understand that, we know that we can get easily caught up in ourselves, focusing on ourselves Desiring things for ourselves going after things for our lives. But Lord may we see through the eyes of Christ this morning. As we opened your voice, maybe we understand with the heart and the mind of Christ or that we are here to love you. And one another, oh, bless this time, as we opened it were together, we ask this in Jesus name, amen, scripture here, speaks of two kinds of Christian. The spiritual one, which would be the mature Christian and the carnal one, which would be the immature. Christian

A spiritual teacher. Christian is someone who whose desires and allows the spirit of God, to teach them about their new life in Christ. And then, once they learn about this new life in Christ, they make the changes accordingly, they grow or take away or add to whatever is necessary. This is someone who reads their Bible daily. I'm not only just to get through it. You know, I understand that there is a One Year Bible and I understand that there are people who, who read the Bible once a year. I know, I know of people who have been posting for the beginning of this year that they're going to read through the Bible, five times. And and that's that's great that's great. I'm not a post that by any form or any thought or any way. But to me the whole point of reading the Bible isn't to just get through it and read it. So you can tell people that you've read Multiple times, but I did the Bible is that you read it to learn and to grow from it, to take what it has to stay in, to apply it to our lives. In to see the changes that God, desires and enables us to make within our life. So you know, a mature Christian reads, his Bible or her Bible daily, not just to get through it, but to learn to learn about their new life in Christ. And then they make the changes. They they they live this new life that they learned about pleasing to God and that's why they're going through it, that's why they're reading it. I, you know, I don't know about you, but I came to Christ because I really messed up my life and so I thought. All right, I don't want to follow this path. No more. Cuz this path is really messing up my life and those around me, so I need a new Direction. I need a new purpose. I need a new heart. I need a new idea. I need to start talking different and acting different. Thinking different because I'm messing things up. Not just my life but everybody around me. My family's lives are being affected. So I I want a different life. I don't want to be who I've been. I came to price began reading, the Bible was like oh so I shouldn't do that. I need to stop that I should be doing this. Okay I need to put this into my line, maturing growing there was a constant growth and change taking place in in our lives as we mature there is not a plateau that were reaching for striving for going towards. That once we get here we're done. Now we just get to cruise through our Christian Life. No such Plateau. There was a constant continual growing in our lives and maturing in our lives I have a nephew who is a A Harley-Davidson mechanic and he works for Harley-Davidson in in Wisconsin in and he went to school for it. He did all of his classes and paid what it cost and everything else finally got his license. And, and do you have to have a Harley-Davidson license to teach our to work on Harley-Davidsons in their shops? But every year, he has to go with update because every year, they're improving things, and changing things of upgrading things. And so, every year he has to go in and he doesn't get to tell the Harley manufacturing. I already graduated, I already passed the class has already. Okay. Every year he has to go and take a test and make sure that he's up with the changes and up with the things that are adding and enough with the growing process and growth of the motorcycle. This is the same thing was Christianity. Again, we are going through these Growing maturing process is in our lives. There are we are constantly maturing in Christ. Now, the car nor the immature Christian is someone who has not learned or does not want to learn about their new life in Christ and therefore they don't make changes in their life because they don't want to make sure they don't want to know what they shouldn't do. They don't want to know what they should be doing. I'm saved, I accepted Jesus, he's cleanse me of my sins. I'm just going to move on with my life and I don't want to hear all this stuff. I don't want to know all these things of God. I want to just be loves me. I love him, we're good, and off we go, they really either have learned of the new life in Christ or they don't want to learn in their New Life of Pi so therefore there's no change. Some people believe that there is no such thing as a carnal Christian that you're either a Christian or you're not. There's no such thing as a carnal Christian, they believe the carnal people referred to in our texts are not Christians. There are not Christmas ball here is addressing these carnal individuals and they say, but you can't there's no such thing as a car. But remember when Paul wrote this letter, he began in 1st Corinthians chapter 1, you make some interesting statement says, he's riding to these church, the church in Corinth, he says in 1st Corinthians 12, he says to the Church of God, which is at Corinth to those who are Sanctified in Christ call, stay with all who are in every place call on the name of Jesus. Our lord, both theirs and Ours. I like Christians to me but it goes further in verse for 1st Corinthians 1 is I think my God always concerning you for the grace of God, which was given to you by Christ Jesus that you were in Rich and everything by Him in all utterance and knowledge even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you but did you come short? No gift eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord. Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. There were Christians. Paul was writing to Christians. It wasn't like, you guys are pondering thinking, wondering, considering, I don't know how he makes his lazy. You can't get any more specific than these, that they have called on the name of the Lord Jesus. He has given them the spirit of God, the grace of God, there in Rich, and all of the gifts of God, God has confirmed them and will continue to confirm them until Jesus return. So absolutely Corinthians who he's referring to hear these who he's calling carnal Christians. There Christians that, there's no doubt about it. Here's what I need you to understand every one of us, everyone starts as being an immature, Christian, because we are born again. We're born again into our new life. But just like, children, we grow and we learn and we mature. Are taxes referring to Christians who have not grow or learn and therefore they haven't changed their life. They are still doing childish things. There still acting childish. I, I know I always talk about my grandsons and I sometimes apologize for it, but sorry, but not sorry, but it's interesting to watch them. Okay. 13 and a half, and one little over two and they're different. We're praying for the day, when they're on the kind of the same level and they play better together because right now, they're still at a different level of playing, but we expect them to grow. We expect them to make changes. We expect them to mature. We don't we don't carry them around like little ones. Any longer whenever they need to do this like that. You're too heavy. You walk? Okay. It is I don't need to carry you anymore. You're too. You're too big and I'm too old so just you know we're expecting that and then so when we come to Christ we are born again. We are babes in Christ. We all start off in the immaturity, we all start off with the lack of ability to speak in a Godly manner. We all are in the lack, the ability to think, and to move into respondents react as a solid, but you're a Christian because we just accepted the Lord. We don't know. But as time grows or time goes, we need to grow. We need to learn. We need to understand. You know, it, it is cute to watch the little ones when they first learn how to crawl, but I'm expecting them to walk. It is you to watch them when they first walk, but I'm expecting them to run and end. So there's, there's a natural understanding that. Yes, they will mature. Yes, they will talk. Yes. You will carry on conversations with the yes, they will learn to read and write. And, and, and yes, they will learn math. And yes, they will grow. These are things that nobody anticipate that they will stay immature, and a little. It's the same thing was Christianity. When we accept the Lord, we are all babes in Christ. We are brand new born again. Don't really know anything about God celebrating the grace of God. Celebrating the salvation of God, celebrating the Forgiveness of God. Now, what does that mean? How is my life now? Going to be different. What do I need to add into my life or take away from my life? The scripture teaches that there are two kinds of precious. The spiritual amateur, Christian. The carnal are the immature. Again, when we become Christians were born again, meaning we're babes are our new life begins 2nd Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation old things have passed away. Behold? All things have become new. Now all things are of God, not of me now. They're all of God who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ. You are a new creation. You're born again. You're starting over. You don't have to learn how to be a question. I can remember going forward and accepting the Lord and, and then it's like, so stuff I did yesterday. Do I act the same way as I acted yesterday, or should there or are there changes that should be a part of my life? Will begin to learn how to be a Christian. You can't be, you can't be a thirteen-year-old Christian, a weekend to your Christian life cuz you're only a week old in the floor, you'll get to 13, you'll get to 20, you'll you'll mature and grow. But for now, we have to understand that I do inventory things. I say immature things. I I act immature at times as a Christian because I don't know any better. I've never done this before. But we grow and mature. So all of us began our walk with the Lord as immature Christian and then we do the years have brown. We are to begin our growing process immediately. After our new birth, just like newborn babies are weak. They immediately grow. Once the baby is born. They stick a bottle of them out. Never had a bottle in the mouth before but they do now. Okay, because you got to cut that cord from Mom. That's been feeding the baby, so now the baby has to do differently. The baby is. First born have to learn to breathe. You do know, don't you was never breathed in the in the womb before because it's surrounded with water. Now it has to be it. And so and then it just goes from there, it begins with the breathing process, it begins with the feeding from the bottle process and it just grows from there. Everybody understands that everybody expects the, the growing process to begin immediately. Not like, you know what, just don't breathe for the first week and you'll be fine. You know, don't don't drink a bottle for the first week. It starts immediately after the baby doesn't start breathing immediately, emergency lights, come on and the doctors, begin the process, and I've got to find out and fix. Why the baby isn't breathing. There's something wrong. And if the baby doesn't eat in the baby, doesn't get to go home from the hospital. So immediate processes you guys 2nd. Peter 3:18 says, but grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are to grow. We are not to accept the Lord. Say, hallelujah. I'm saved. I'm done work to immediately. Begin the growing process. What now? How do I respond now? We all start as babes in Christ. That's why Paul indicated here in a taxi. So I fed you with milk and not solid food because they were not able to receive the solid food. Again, little Kota is my grandson is 2 years old so it's still like in all went when we're getting stuff to eat I'll ask. Can he eat this nosy? Okay to eat this and she is still there considering Isaiah history and a Vegan eat anything and he does. But you know, There's that knowledge, and there's that growing in and, you know, we started with the mouth and then you make that gradual change in to Ustick cereal in the milk and and it fills them up better because, you know, they're they're growing and then you start introducing solid foods while I guess they're solid. There, they're liquefied. I guess it'd be considered a solid foods, and then they grow. And then the teeth, then the chewing comes and then the it all in all, it's all a process. So Paul says, listen, he's referring to them. As soon as I sent you guys with milk because you were brand-new, you were just beginning. You didn't know what Christianity was or anything else. That's why I slowly that you and I I didn't, you know, start getting into the deep things or anything. I didn't start talking about, you know, this and that I just I gave you. No, because you were newborn But is it, but the problem now with them was, they're still drinking now, they haven't grown into the solid food. Growing and maturing. What will follow Paul tells the Corinthians later in 1st Corinthians. 13 verse 11. It says, when I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. When I became a man, I put away childish, things there was the graduating, there is the growing, there are things that little, Kota we don't let him do no more cuz he's too old for that. There's things that little Isaiah that we don't let him do anymore. He's too old for that, there's things that we re we desire and request of Isaiah cuz he's all over. Now, there's things that we request of of, Kota because he's older now, So, there is the growing there is the necessity of maturing. Immaturity means that that everyone feeds me. Everyone looks after me. Everyone takes care of me. I only think of me. I'm the only thing that counts. I have no concept of other people's a newborn baby when they wake up 12 times a night there. They call. You know what? Maybe Mom and Dad's a little tired tonight. Maybe I should not wake up for a couple of hours, maybe I should give him more time now. I want a bottle. I want to be changed. I want to be held. I want the attention. I want someone arms to be laying on. Someone's on. I don't want to be in this bed. No more. I mean, I don't care.

I want all the attention. I need full attention and initially, they do, they can't do anything, they can't change their own diaper. They can go to the into the restroom. They can't feed themselves, they can't prepare their food, so yeah, it starts off that way, but but that's immaturity everyone to take care of everyone do things for me. Everyone looks up to me and it's hard to get out of that. It's our nature to be self-centered. It is, it's our sinful nature that we should always be focused on herself. I've shared it off with you guys. When you guys look at a group picture, who's the first person you look for you do for you. In that group, I want you to find your idea of what you first look for you. Okay, and then that's just our nature. We, we are into ourselves and focus on ourselves. And it takes time and it's difficult. Sometimes it's necessary to be fully dependent, but then, it grows, we grow should say and we grow out of that. Against all. All the tension on on on self is is hard for us to battle again little. Isaiah, you know, it anytime we start playing with Koda, you know, whatever code is doing then Isaiah jumped in the way like he wants to do it. Like like what about me, what about me? And it's like, you know, you can get plenty of attention, you call over there. That's immaturity, but charity means we feed ourselves. Sometimes that's difficult. You guys remember you know, sting little Isaiah and all that is like the fact. I want them to learn to feed themselves but it sure is messy when they first learned. I made this everywhere and I was just like, use your fork. Use your spoon, and it's like easier on and it. It's so there's a, there's a process and it can get messy learning to feed yourself. It could get difficult learning to feed yourself, but it has to be done. Maturity means I feed myself, but surely means I take care of myself. I dress myself. I, I do things for myself. You know, I'm aware of people around me. I enjoy helping people, do things I like. And I, I want to give attention to other people. I want to point out other individuals. It's not about me. That's maturing Coming to that realization that it's not about me, it's about the Lord coming to that realization. I need to the read the scriptures for myself and grow for myself coming to that point as far as I need to start telling myself. Now I I don't need for everybody else to say Jim you need to knock that off. I need to say Jim to myself. You need to knock that off. I need to make sure I need to grow and it's not always easy but its necessary.

Now though being carnal or being immature, may have different forms of immaturity Hall. Describe the evidence of the Corinthians in maturity as a thing that they they have Envy strife and Division. They still want it with the other kids had they, they were fighting and they fought with the other kids because they wanted it from them. And therefore it was causing division, sometimes when Cody and Isaiah are playing together, then it starts fighting over. Then we stepped we divide them. You play over there and you play over their peers, your toys. And here's your toys and they're not playing together. I want them to learn to play together so we bring them back together but sometimes their their immaturity and their envy and their Strife causes division.

They? They leave not grown out. The Corinthians had not grown out of their fighting and arguing and division, they were still fighting and arguing. Which was causing the division. My teacher is better than your teacher will my teacher planner.

My teacher speaks more eloquent than your teacher. My teacher just teaches about Jesus. It doesn't use the big words and they were in this like both anointed godly man, but they were arguing, mine's better know, mine's better. Does not sound childish. But yet we find ourselves even today the church or do you go to church? I go here and your immediate thoughts.

I'll pray for your brother. I'm sure they're a good church. Not as good as mine, but I'm sure there are good church and, and you can see that, just the name of a pastor or just the name of a church can strike, thoughts and opinions and an issues inside. Everybody saved, everybody's starving the same Lorde, everybody's teaching from the same Bible? Yeah, but mine is better than yours. Mine is more energetic than yours or mine. Is more involved than yours.

It just received us. We begin to see the divisions and we began to you. No fight amongst ourselves and arguing amongst. The pulses. Are you guys are immature? I can't. I can't go into the the mature things with you. I still have to feed you with milk because you've got this MD in this Strife than in the divisions among you, you know, you need to get past that you need to go beyond your teachers and you need to focus on the floor. That's the way he addressed their immaturity that the remainder of our texts and 1st Corinthians 3 beginning in verse five, he says, who, that is Who's Apollo's, but ministers through whom you believed, as the lord gave to each one, I planted Apollos watered, but God gave the increase so that neither he who planted everything nor he who Waters, but God gives the increase Hue plants. And he, who Waters? Or one in each one, will receive his is owner rewarded, according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field. You are God's Building. He refers to the church as a garden.

Who's Apollo's? Guys are arguing over, who's Paul and Apollo's, I planted the seed. Paul was the one that got sent there and and introduce them to the gospel. This is, but then I had to go on and move on with my life and my calling in my Ministry in Gladstone Apollo's, who water, he didn't plant, he watered the sea that God had kind of threw my Ministry is so, you know, why you arguing who's better? Because if there's no water and then there's no growing. Well, if you don't have no seeds Waters right now, growing either who's more important? And then and then de the battle begin to do with the platter or the water. God is the one that gives the increase. That's the one that gave the seed that was planted God's. The one that gives the watering through the teaching of the wire who's Paul and Apollo's, we're just service of the Lord. We're just laborers. That's all we are. They were simply ministers. Laborers, those who planted in water. What they were told to plant in water. They were, they were not the designers or the ones who brought life and growth to the Seas. They didn't do that. They just landed and water and God brought forth the growth. The Corinthians were so busy, fighting over, who was the best labor, they were missing the beauty of the garden. We're talking about a beautiful garden and they were oblivious to it. They were arguing over the banner and the water. Not about the beauty that was in front of them. It would be like you and I are going to the Arboretum and in Arcadia or the Huntington Library in Pasadena and seeing the labor planning, some some new flowers, and in others, watering that, and they're using shovels and rakes. And and instead of admiring the Guard, we're just going to use the shovel. He's pretty slick with that shovel. I like the guy with the rake. He's really the way he gets in between there and everything else and it's like that's what you're there to see. That's the point of the, of the arbor grandma and in the Huntington Library is the workers. That's what you went to go. See anyone? You want to do that? I want to go check out the workers at the Arboretum. I want to watch him plant and water where they use those shovels of those rakes, as blows my mind. I wish I could do that like them. None of us have gone through either one of these places with the purpose of watching the laborers, when we go for see, the beauty of the garden. Watch the beauty of the Guard. You don't go to argue, who's better the planner, or who's the better plan, or I'll just watch this guy. Watch this guy really good. That

Admiring are arguing over the importance of a shovel or rake. No one is looking at the beauty of The Wonder of the garden. If that's what we're there to see and that's what we're talking about if we were to take our kids or children every time I say kids, I think my mother-in-law Not that she's a kid, but she always says, they're not goats. Alright, their children. I do if our children that were doing this, we would tell and stop, What about the labourers or the tools? It's about the beauty of the Garden. In The Wonder of the work of God in these Gardens. Look at the colors. Look at the variety. This is Paul's point. Jeeeesus listen we the laborers were nothing. It's the work of God in your life. Look to him. Give God the glory and the praise for the increase in the work. If the changes in the beauty of Our Lives that we now have him Christ, is it don't? Look at, don't look at the laborers, we don't bring forth any life, we don't bring forth any grow. Its the Lord, that does the word.

It's great to be a planner positive, great to be. A water is even great to be at all, like a shovel or rake in the very hands of Our Lord. The join the excitement of looking over a beautiful garden. That's what it's about. That's the beauty that Paul says, you're missing it, you're arguing over gardeners and you're, you're missing the garden, you're missing the beauty. He says it's a blessing to work together. So join the excitement of looking over a beautiful garden you and your family have labored over to plow and the plant and the water is very rewarding. You know what I mean? I'm sure with you guys. I'll leave tonight out of it. I'm horrible when it comes to plants. I think we both are but I'll take it off, okay? We've killed many of it on and it is almost like we did. I do buy a plan and bring it home. And my little mind is like a wonder how long it'll take us to kill this one, you know? And, and and I just the reason the reason is, I don't pay the attention. I should to it, that I don't work. It's oh, so when I take the time and I labor and file, and dig, and plant water, I bring people out. Check this flower out. When did it myself water? It? Every day. Every day, I used to water everyday and kills killing. That was my problem. Okay, I don't talk to The Gardener's at the store and they go your water and it too much and it's a hundred degrees out there. Can't water a plant too much temperature. Is it yellow too much? I think yellow means a starving for water. Now it's too much years. I argued in my head and disobey the deal find me. I thought, you know what? I'm going to try watering like every 3 days. Damn, I got flowers.

But but when I put the labor and Janiah Planet together, or we would like we planted a little garden with with Isaiah, we haven't done the garden with Cody at cuz he'll just pull them up in the, he won't help plan but we will. But if it's, it's rewarding to going to look at the growth than the beauty that I took, I didn't, you know, I understand that the Seas were purchased. I understand that the water was Supply, but knowing the hard work and labor put into it is rewarding. That's what all the things it does. I, I understand this dude was purchased through the death of Christ. I understand that the spirit of God is the water that is applied. But it's rewarding to do, look out over the beautiful garden that God has done in. And I've in Apollo's have been allowed to be a part of it. Jesus said, the laborers are few and that we should be praying for the Lord, to send out laborers into his field. And we should always pray for the Lord, to send out laborers. We should always, I believe you will need to be those labors that God sent that whether were planning or watering, whatever the case may be. I believe this was Paul's Point here. You guys, he was encouraging them and encouraging us to Growing our maturity in the Lord. So that we all take our eyes off of others and put her eyes on the field of the Lost in the needy Souls. It's not about me and my surround I'm saying, you are saved to be focusing. We should be focusing on the beauty of God's feel. We should be focusing on that. The law that needs to be shared with, we need to be focusing on on those that are in need and struggling can have situation. That's the beauty of the garden. Not even sting that, there's weeds out there that need to be pulled, right? Even think that they're starting to die. Cuz nobody's want. You're not seeing any of that. You're focusing on the wrong thing. So this is what Paul is encouraging that man. This is this. What are we? What are we focusing? Some of us, maybe they need to get off of Milliken and begin to start eating solid foods. So we can grow in our spiritual strength, which spiritual strength leads to spiritual understanding which leads to spiritual surrender for the owner of the field virtual surrender to Jesus Christ. That's the point here is what are we focusing? We shouldn't be focusing on the labor. It sounds foolish to go to the Arboretum to watch the workers or just see the work. It makes sense to go in. To look at the beauty in the see, if there's me, if you're one of the labor You know, if you've ever hired a gardener then fired him because he is not doing his job. How do you know? He's not doing his job because there's weeds everywhere in the grass is a foot high. And and so you see all that so, you know you can observe it on that address. It's always quit. Looking at the labor. Look at the feel, look at the beauty of the field. We are to work together in the Lord's, feel dumb, we'll plow, plant some more water summer work, the Harvest But it is always, it is always the Lord who gives the increase always store, it's not a it's the lure. I was going to share some words of encourage.

I encourage all of us, focus on the beauty of God's Garden. Not the labor. See, the beauty that God produces in life's. The variety of colors, the variety of design. Understand that through God do God uses Labor's the life Beauty and the increase come from the Lord, not from the labor come from the Lord. focus on that is thankful for those that there is a large thankful for those that labor But the increase in the growth of the Beauty and the life that comes from the Lord. From the labor, pray for the Lord to send more laborers into his field. Grow in the knowledge in the strength of Our Lord. Be be one of his labors in this field, be willing to spot a weed and pluck it out, be willing to do point out the beauty of, of the flower that got us has created given life. Be willing to waterworth Nessa. Maturity begins with learning. The Isle of a young little ones, how they're always, what's that? What's that, what's that? What's this, the lies, they is, just sometimes, it's annoying. What's that? What's that? What's that Papa? What's up? What's this? A papa, what's this? What's that? Papa? What's up? Just like

you been asking that for the last 15 minutes straight, okay, you don't even remember what I told. You 10 minutes ago, come on man.

But, but that's how he grows. I want to know what that is. I want to know what that is. I want to know what that is. What does that say? He wants to know. Letters. What's this? What's that number? What's this color? He wants to grow, he wants to learn. And, and as he's learning his next, besides his favorite thing to say, is, what's that is next? Favorite thing to say is, I can do it, I can do it. I got it, I got it. And then cuz he's learning so tight. He doesn't need me. No more. But he does. But maturity begins with learning. Learning to use learning to use our arms and our legs learning to use our eyes babies are born with arms and legs. They don't know what to do with them. They can't even hold their own bottle, they will. They have legs are born with legs but they don't know how to walk. They will. There's the learning process learning to use our arms and our legs babies are born with eyes but it doesn't Focus, right? They don't know what the things mean. They're born with mouth, but they don't know how to use them yet other than to cry.

Maturity begins with learning learning to use our arms, and our legs, and our eyes, and our mouths properly for the Lord. I I had arms and legs in the mouth and eyes is a non-Christian. I did some horrible things will all of them. But as a born-again Christian now, what do I do with my arms in my leg? Now, what do I do with my eyes in my mouth, I want to use them properly for the lure. Learning the season needs in people's lives. I need your eyes, Lord. I always pray every Sunday morning for us pastors, or give us your eyes. And we can see, give me your heart that we can respond. Give us your mouth that we can speak. What we need to speak. Teacher use. Learning to see the needs in people's lives, learning to speak and purging words and truthful things with our mouths. We before I was a Christian, I I use my mouth, but I can't tell you what I used to say with it, I don't want to talk like that. No more. I don't want to be rude and crude. I, I want to be encouraging. I want to speak truth Learning to lift people up with our arms. Learning to run to those who are hurt with our leg learning to carry them with the strength that we have from the lore, learning to counsel them, in the wisdom of God that, in my opinions. But in the wisdom of God, This is maturing learning how yes. We have everything, a learning what to do with learning how to respond to thing, learning how to react the thing, learning how to do things in a Godly manner. Using our Our lives. Our bodies are our abilities. We're gone. That's the different that's battery. That's maturing in Christ bosses. Listen to it. Since you guys are safe you're born again at your Believers. I still have to give him out. If you still don't know what to do with your arms and your legs. You definitely don't know what to do with your mouth. You're struggling with what to do with your eyes. You're not focusing on the proper things. You're not seeing the beauty of God. You're not looking out over your church and going with a beautiful work. Got his done. You're looking out over going. There's a messed up on. There's a mess. Stop with that one. I even know why I was here. Is it. You're not using your eyes. But why for a spiritual purpose, not using your body or Spirit the purpose, or just lay there? And give me now? Give me that somebody feed all says, you need to stand up. You need to walk. You need to run. You need to get on solid food and so this is our encouragement, maturity begins with learning you guys, we have to learn, we have to understand, we have to like little Isaiah. What's that? Lord? What's that? What's that say? Lord, what's that, what's that meal? Or? What's that mean? Lord, we need to have that inquisitive. And end. God's not like me, he's not going to roll his eyes and go for crying out loud. Jimmy been asking for 15 minutes, he's going to say, come on, come on, I'll ask more ask more cuz I've got a whole lot more to teach you.

That's where maturity begin. Awesome thing is, we can begin our maturity or are growing in Christ right now. We're already born again, so it's not a matter of praying for the spirit of God to come in us. We can start today. I can start using every part of my body. For the Lord. Walking as a mature, Christian simply beginning to learn learning about the Lord, through his Spirit who dwells within it. Learning that through his strength. We can we can go out. We can do, we can accomplish We can be the mature Christian that God has called and enabled us to be. It's just our willingness. Sometimes sometimes just enjoyable to just say there and say, feed me. I share this story before not close with this. When Jeanette and I were first marriage and that comes from a family where the girls serve the men, Hey sister serve, the brother's wife, serve the husband's and the guys, we just sit around saying, give me my food, I grew up in the family, what your hands broken, or something, what your legs don't work at it yourself. And I'm not in a rude, something like that. But in a responsible when we were first married, it was difficult cuz we go to her family's house and I will go in there and start serving myself food and inequity. You guys said it's time to eat. Are you getting food? And then they pull just like we're letting him in here for why is he serving himself while he wants to? I don't care. Get out of here. This isn't for him to do and so she would come and she said I'll get it for you when she come and set it on a plate. Then we go to my house and do that was start serving me and my parents look at me like What's she doing? She's getting me some food for your arms broke or something. What are you sick? What's wrong with you? Nothing. Nothing want to get up, get it yourself, okay. It's nice that down in Frost and this is, you know, Whatever works. She told her family, listen, there's times that the kids are running around and doing things. And I'm busy and, and, and Jim doesn't want to wait for half hour to eat. He wants to eat with everybody else, so he gets himself something to eat. And then we told my family, listen, I I know this may sound strange. Something that likes to serve me sometime, I like it too.

Do sometimes she'll serve me and sometimes I'll serve myself. Authors that maturing in that growing, I don't expect you not to do anything for me. She doesn't owe me anything. And she doesn't expect me to do it all. Now she's at. Now, she doesn't

It's it's growing. It's b r i And we need to grow in Christ. Read on our own, understanding her own seek. The wisdom of God, let God work either. Learn from him and it begins the day. Father, thank you for bringing us together this morning. Lord, thank you for sharing with us, the difference father. And knowing that as we first accept Christ being born again, we are completely immature. Having no clue on a walk move think as a Christian, but we grow and you teach a day by day, or do you have sent individuals to plant these in her life? You've sent individual water. You've even said individuals to help pull weeds out of her life, but Lord, you are the one that always gives the in You were the one Lord that bills, the beauty of the hand of God and the work of God in our lives. The Lord may we willingly Lord rho take care of our personal walk with price that we may read and understand sneak your wisdom. The very spirit that dwells And Paul or Billy Graham or anybody else Falls in that I do Lester. But the same here I may we surrender to your maybe learn and grow your way. It may. We walk the maturity walking away from walking in the grass in the spring. Last our fellowship, Lord, as we come into your presence of worship, you are, they our hearts be lifted as we praise you may you may you bless our offering as we giving it to, you may our hearts be prepared. As we take the time to take communion remembering Our Life of Christ through the sacrifice of Jesus and then that we will always remember and that we will always fella bring the father bless our time as we worship you now. In Jesus name. Amen, let's worship.
