Gratitude journal 5 things everyday

Set aside time with God devoted to thanksgiving and praise

Praying over food thank God for things other than food. (Long prayers are OK!!)

Write God a thank you note

Spontaneous Thanksgiving (v. 15>Luke 2:20)

Don’t take things for granted today. Take them with gratitude.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you give thanks throughout the day

We have the ability to choose a grateful attitude.

Ungratefulness (Romans 1:21)

Why did the 9 not return? Maybe went to see family? maybe went to the Priest? Had other things they wanted to do?

It is easy for us to receive the blessing from God without stopping or returning and giving him all the praise and glory.

Ungratefulness always leads us away from God’s presence.

V 19 Jesus’ purpose is not to provide miracles but to offer a saving relationship to God through him.
