Believers must be baptized in the Holy Spirit and anointed by the Holy Spirit to see people set free from yokes of bondage.
Isaiah 10:27 NKJV
It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.

Jesus Was Anointed To Break The Yoke Of Bondage

Jesus declared that He would break spiritual, physical, and emotional bondage.
Luke 4:17–18 NKJV
And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
The gospel is anointed for forgiveness and spiritual salvation. Anointed for the poor, oppressed, humbled, crushed in spirit, brokenhearted, and those who tremble at His word!
He’s anointed to bring freedom to those that are enslaved by their sin. He’s anointed to heal the blind, bruised, wounded, and the broken. He’s anointed to open our blinded eyes to all of Satan’s schemes and attacks.
Acts 10:38 NKJV
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
He is anointed to meet every single human need no matter how big or small they are.

Disciples Were Anointed To Break Yokes Of Bondage

Jesus promised that His followers would have the same anointing as He did. The very same Holy Spirit that worked in and through Jesus is the Holy Spirit that works in and through you.
Acts 1:4–5 NKJV
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
Acts 1:8 NKJV
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
The oil of anointing in the scripture is symbolic of this Holy Spirit. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and so were His disciples.
Acts 2:1–4 NKJV
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

We Have Been Called To Break Yokes Of Bondage

Today many people are yoked up in bondage to sin!
Galatians 5:19–21 NKJV
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
There is an anointing that will destroy every single stronghold in your life. This Holy Spirit anointing will exchange every work of flesh for fruit of the Spirit.
Galatians 5:22–25 NKJV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
If we’re going to see captives set free from bondage, see the sick healed, and see the lost saved we’re going to need this anointing of the Holy Spirit!

How Can We Have This Anointing

Psalm 133:1–3 NKJV
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.
We must submit ourselves to Jesus and His will for our lives.
We must be united as one in God’s purpose. We can not just unite around any purpose, it must be according to his will and purpose. He is the one that commissions, blesses, and empowers for His purposes.
We must be available for His use.
