Thankfulness Devotion

Read V. 1-2

We should always be quick to show God thankfulness. We often get caught up in life and forget to show God gratitude, we are always quicker to complain.

We should be thankful for the grace he shows in sparing us of his anger and also him showing us comfort despite our many rebellions.

Obviously we should thank God for salvation. Thank him for the spiritual strength and joy salvation brings.

Read V. 3-6

So we have read the second time tonight where we see the command to give thanks.

That thankfulness should also come in the form of a boast as we boast on what God has done for us. As we proclaim the gospel we talk about the good things God has done. Don’t be ashamed to talk about your God as you celebrate thankfulness this Thursday.

A thankful and joyful heart sings praises. We as Christians should be a singing people. Their should be a song in your heart.
