Rejoice Always

Joy is a choice.

We can rejoice not matter our present circumstances

Joy isn’t about what we see but Who we see...

Look Above

Verse 6

We must be willing to seek God before we do anything else

Never be afraid to make specific requests of God

Tell God what we are worried about

“With Thanksgiving” as we pray we give thanks, not for the problem, but for the God who can work in our problem.

Look Around

Verse 7

As we look around and see our lives in light of who God is we have a peace that we cannot explain.

God gives us peace when we should be losing our minds

True peace is best appreciated in the middle of storms

Anyone can be calm when the sun is shining , but can you have peace when things are going crazy?

As we look around we see how God is doing amazing things in the midst of chaos.

Look Ahead

Verse 8

Think about what God can do in your life and be grateful…

God can still work miracles; He can still make a way

Too often we have a “doom & gloom” outlook on our lives but we serve a miracle working God.

See what God can do and then trust Him to do it

Don’t be so caught up in yesterday that you miss what God is able to do tomorrow
