12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
The place. “certain city”
The problem. “leprosy” (affected the nerves. 2 Timothy 4:2)
“He did not have leprosy. Leprosy had him.” (Dean Weaver)
Leprosy changed the flesh.
(considered utterly unclean)

Is this the “noisome and grievous sore” that those who received the mark in the Great Tribulation in Revelation 16:2?

Nine cases of leprosy are recorded in Scripture (Exod. 4:6; Num. 12:10; 2 Kings 5:1, 27; 7:3, 15:5; 2 Chron. 26:20; Matt. 8:2; 26:6; Luke 17:12). The Lord Jesus healed the sick, but He cleansed the leper.
Nine is the number for fruit.
What we view as opposition, Jesus views it as opportunity.

Hebrews 11:6—But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
If you need victory or cleansing from sin, He will cleanse your life.
Psalm 34:18—The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalm 51:17—The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Psalm 51:10—Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
1 John 1:7—But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
