So we come to the most popular Psalm of all – Psalm 23. With its rich imagery and deep promises, it’s no wonder it’s so well loved. And while we want to soak up the comforts these verses offer, we also need to be reminded of the call to receive from God and surrender to God. Like last week, we can’t take the encouragement without the challenge. If God is to be our shepherd, we must accept our place as spiritual sheep, and all the needs that we cannot meet on our own.
