We saw as the door was open and John immediately in the Spirit in what he experienced

SLIDE 6 “REVELATION 4-5 The Throne, The Book, The Lamb”
Last week we saw everything in history of the bible, all the benefits we have as Christians were revealed through oracles of God
SLIDE 7
ORACLE
“brief utterance”
SLIDE 8
“The term oracle has become the vehicle for the biblical conception for the revelation of God” - Theological Dictionary of the New Testament
SLIDE 9
Romans 3:1–2 (NASB95)
1 Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the benefit of circumcision?
2 Great in every respect. First of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God.
It was pointed out last week that oracle is a noun not a verb
Today we close out the throne of God
SLIDE 10 “THE SCROLL WITH 7 SEALS”
Next week we start in Chapter 6 “the opening of the book or scroll”
Lets get into it here as we see again or another amazing point why Jesus is so worthy
SLIDE 11 “WHO IS WORTHY”
We can be thankful Jesus is worthy amen?
Okay lets get back into chapter 5
SLIDE 12
Revelation 5:7–8 (NASB95)
7 And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
8 When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
SLIDE 13
Revelation 5:9–10 (NASB95)
9 And they sang a new song, saying,
“Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
10 “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.”
SLIDE 14
Revelation 5:11–12 (NASB95)
11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands,
12 saying with a loud voice,
“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.”
SLIDE 15
Revelation 5:13–14 (NASB95)
13 And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying,
“To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.”
14 And the four living creatures kept saying, “Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped.
SLIDE 16 “WHO IS WORTHY”
Remember we saw in the verses before this a strong angel
God has the book or scroll in His hand
No one in heaven or earth or under the earth was worthy
John began to weep
The Lamb of God is the only One worthy
Our last point of why He is worthy today
The scroll represents “Christ tile deed” so to speak”
We see this in Psalms 2 lets look at that
SLIDE 17
Psalm 2:7–8 (NASB95)
7 “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,
And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
SLIDE 18
Psalm 2:9–10 (NASB95)
9 ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron,
You shall shatter them like earthenware.’ ”
10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;
Take warning, O judges of the earth.
SLIDE 19
Psalm 2:11–12 (NASB95)
11 Worship the Lord with reverence
And rejoice with trembling.
12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
We see here in our last point of why Jesus is worthy - He is the heir
In fact Hebrews tells us He is the heir of all things
SLIDE 20
Hebrews 1:1–2 (NASB95)
1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways,
2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
SLIDE 21
Hebrews 1:3 (NASB95)
3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Our final point why He is worthy, He is the heir of all things
Jesus is our “Kinsman Redeemer”
SLIDE 22

25 “As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
And at the last He will take His stand on the earth.
SLIDE 24
Colossians 1:13–14 (NASB95)
13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
SLIDE 25
Colossians 1:15–16 (NASB95)
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.
SLIDE 26
Colossians 1:17–18 (NASB95)
17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
SLIDE 27
Colossians 1:19–20 (NASB95)
19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him,
20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
