I Waiting for the Holy Spirit

A. upper room (Acts 1).

B. Post Pentecost: release of the Spirit already given.

C. Mary: contemplated all these things in her heart and treasured them.

D. Novena of the Holy Spirit.

II The Glory of God

A. Father you have glorified me and I am glorified in my disciples.

B. God's glory is

1) Hidden now in heaven (with the ascended Jesus).

2)Hidden now on earth (with Jesus incarnate in the Church).

3) Dependent on our manifestation of the gifts/fruits of the Spirit.

III Mary is our model

A. Being there.

B. Being willing

C. Being ready.
