INTRO: There are some things that are specifically designed for you. There is an obstacle course of disasters and disappointments that is specifically designed for you. It is not meant for your detriment, but for your development. CAST YOUR CARES SLUMBER NOR SLEEPS

1. THIS is the DAY: THIS DAY may not EVEN resemble yesterday. BUT for SURE, THIS DAY WON’T BE REPEATED TOMORROW. Therefore we need to embrace THIS DAY for there are some things that will transpire THIS DAY that is meant to inspire THIS DAY that will also expire THIS DAY

2. “That the LORD HAS MADE: Everything that GOD MADE: GOD DECLARED THAT IT WAS GOOD. TRUST IN THE LORD Prov 3:5 When U LOSE TRUST in something or someone, you will develop the tendency to lean to your own understanding. Where I use to say, when you said I need to work late, “ I will put your food in the microwave. Now I wonder if U are even at work.

3. WE WILL REJOICE : Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. GOD is constantly teaching us how to C O P E with living while HE is PREPARING us for life. Paul reminds us how he benefits from everyday. Look at what he says in Phil 4:11-13 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

4. BE GLAD IN IT: Even though it may not have been a great day BE GLAD IN IT. Your boss or your employees may not be having a productive day. Your husband or your wife may not be cooperative today but be glad IN IT. Otherwise you will reject THIS DAY and go about creating your own day. 1 Pet 5:6-7 6.Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

CLOSING: TALK ABOUT PAUL FORGETTING AND PRESSING. TALK ABOUT DAVID. LIFTING HIS EYES...
