You Must Close The Gaps!

Your Faith In The Word Will Plug It Up

Ephesians 4:27 “27 nor give place to the devil.”

Remember, the adversary is just that, he desires to create adversity in your thinking, he is an influencer and desires a place in your mind, he desires to fill those gaps with negative rhetoric, futility, false hope and dwindle your knowledge of God!

You are stronger than he is, therefore, resist him and he will flee from you. . .

Faith is actionable, God’s Word has already done the work, you must allow your faith to hope in the finished work and go get what He has already prepared for you! God’s Word does not have to do anything for you, your faith in His Word activates what He has already spoken!

Ezekiel 18:31 “31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?”

2 Corinthians 12:9 “9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

We were talking about Grace Wednesday - How He gave us this gift, and we must not take His Grace for granite!

Which is why “This Is The Greatest Day Of My Life!”

God had reason to allow the death angel to meet me last night, but because of His Grace - He saw fit to give me another days journey!

So I am Glad About It! So Glad!

We must fill the gaps with our faith In God’s Word and The Holy Spirit! Nehemiah 6:1 “1 Now it happened when Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies heard that I had rebuilt the wall, and that there were no breaks left in it (though at that time I had not hung the doors in the gates),”

The Word of God is The Holy Spirit teaching you all things, and when you believe The Word, when you search the scriptures, you will find in The Word that The Holy Spirit is leading you into all Truths!

The Scriptures are truly spoken, but The Word that God has spoken, is The Truth!

What is His Word?

It is more than what is written, as Jesus The Christ says; John 5:38-40

John 5:38–40 NKJV

38 But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.

Christ’s Word is what He Spoke to them outside of reading The Scriptures - Yes we are to read The Scriptures, but we are to Come To The Word! Hebrews 6:1-2

Hebrews 6:1–2 NKJV

1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

God sent The One Whom has closed the gap , but because He does not come in the form of your imagination, you have a hard time believing that He Is!

The man at the pool heard The Word and believed, therefore he was able to get up and walk; not worrying about the day, nor the hour, but resting on The Word of God!

When you have come to The Word and realize that The Word has made you whole, it no longer matters what the rules are because you are covered by The Word of God!

So as long as you are in The Word and The Word abides in you, then you are righteous!

His Word freed us from all the guilt and shame! His Word empowers me to never allow my own thinking to hinder me from realizing He Is For Me - Who Can Stand Against Me!

Faith is made perfect in weakness - Yes, I know the scriptures say “Strength” but The Holy Spirit told me to tell you that your Faith is going to be made perfect when you are weak and your thinking will determine the level of faith you elevate to!

Christ’s Word says to follow Him - Do as He has done - And Believe The Word that Our Father, Whom are in Heaven - Sends us!

God said in Ezekiel 22:30 “30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”

Christ Jesus came - and stood in the gap for you and for me - and we are to be imitators of Him, ambassadors to His Word of Truth - Therefore, if Christ could stand, so can you and so can me!

Yes - I may not look like the status quo, but I can do nothing of myself, only in The Power of God The Holy Spirit Whom dwells with me!

Whom has sealed us with The Promise (His Word) that will never fail!

And because I am sealed by The Works of Christ - The Finished Works - I no longer have to concern my thinking with the former things, because I am seated in Heaven with Christ!

So the gaps are closed because of The Workings of Christ!

Ephesians 2:13 “13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”

Ephesians 3:12 “12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.”

Christ Jesus spoke The Word to them; “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up. . .” they could not understand because their gaps were filled with their understanding of The Scriptures, and The Word contradicted what they had read, causing them to be angry and defensive, instead of humble and willing!

Christ says that we must be willing to go further in our thinking, and leave the current country, and allow our faith in His Word to Guide us into The Truth so that you won’t remain dead, but know that you have life!! John 5:40 “40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.”
