Intro
Paul has certainly left his mark in Demascus
He had made a name for him self in short order
He stormed the Synagog
He confounded the Jews where they were at
He had a bounty for his death
He had good friends in the church
He had made a reputation for himself and he was paying the price for it.
In this circumstance he had a good reputation and people didn’t like it.
When he enters Jerusalem it isn’t the same story.
He now had two different reputations.
1.
In Damascus he was the preacher of Christ
2. In Jerusalem he was the persecutor of Christians
Early on in your Christian life you may find that you are living a double life.
In church your known by one thing and in school your known by another.
Example:
Mom’s house vs. Dads house
Church vs.s School
It is hard to live consistently especially when you are a new Christian.
But it must happen.
If we continue to live a double life we will not be living in obedience to God.
How do we live consistently?
Good friends
Join the right groups
Do what is right
