Why be baptized? When Peter preached to people on the Day of Pentecost he told them to be baptized "for the remission of sins." Does that mean they needed to be baptized because their sins were already forgiven, or does it mean that they needed to be baptized in order to receive forgiveness of sins? Is baptism because of the remission of sins or in order to receive the remission of sins?
