The Firmament and The Earth (AutoRecovered)

God created the firmament on the 2nd day. It was an expanse that separated the waters above from the waters bellow. The firmament separates the waters above from the waters bellow. It seems that we live inside a protective dome much like a greenhouse. The Hebrew language denotes something solid or strong. The firmament is described as something beautiful, crystalline, like a light blue sapphire stone. It gives us the light blue color in the sky. It is solid like a hard dome and yet also a backdrop which highlights the things inside it.

Genesis 1:6, 8 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day. Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Job 37:18 With Him, have you spread out the skies, Strong as a cast metal mirror? Amos 9:6 The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens and has founded His vaulted dome over the earth, He who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the face of the earth, The Lord is His name. Psalm 148:4 Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, And you waters above the heavens!

Ezekiel 1:22 The likeness of the firmament above the heads of the living creatures was like the color of an awesome crystal, stretched out over their heads. Exodus 24:9–11 Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity. Ezekiel 10:1 And I looked, and there in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

FIRMAMENT [Heb. rāqî (a)ʿ] (NEB VAULT, VAULT OF HEAVEN). The expanse of the atmosphere or sky. This term is derived from firmamentum, the Vulg. rendering of the LXX steréōma. Although in classical Greek the latter denoted something solid, or a firm structure such as a foundation, its LXX usage was of the open sky, or the expanse stretching above the earth. This curious divergence of meaning is matched by the difficulty in translating the original Hebrew term rāqî (a)ʿ. It is a cognate form of the verb rqʿ, “spread out” (Ps. 136:6; Isa. 42:5; 44:24), or “beat out” (Ex. 39:3; Nu. 17:4), the former usage referring to the expanse of the heavens at creation, and the latter to the beating out of metal into thin plates or sheets.

In Job 37:18 the existence of the vault of heaven is attributed to God’s spreading it out, “hard as a molten mirror.” From this poetic allusion some writers have assumed the existence of a primitive cosmology in which the universe was formed as a hollow, beaten out sphere, using the analogy of the “brassy heaven” of Homer. A concept of this kind was never part of Greek cosmology, however, which like its Babylonian and Egyptian counterparts conceived of water encircling the cosmos both above and below it.

Genesis 1:14–17 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth. God set the sun, moon and stars IN THE FIRMAMENT of the Heavens, not above it as some of the waters are above it. This helps explain how the stars fall from the heavens to the earth when the 6th seal is opened. Revelation 6:12-14 Solomon uses the expression “Under the Sun” 29 times in the book of Ecclesiastes to describe man’s works under the watchful eye of the Sun that is both ABOVE US and NEARBY.

The firmament has windows in it which allowed the waters above it to rain down during the flood. Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. It then rained for forty days and nights Jubilees 5:24-25 And the Lord opened seven flood-gates of heaven, And the mouths of the fountains of the great deep, seven mouths in number. And the flood-gates began to pour down water from the heaven forty days and forty nights, And the fountains of the deep also sent up waters, until the whole world was full of water.

Genesis 1 and 2 tell the story of creation, and it says things that are at odds with what modern people know to be true of the world and universe around us. One of those issue concerns the second day of creation (Genesis 1:6-8), where God made the “expanse” or the “firmament.” The Hebrew word for this is raqia (pronounced ra-KEE-ah). Biblical scholars understand the raqia to be a solid dome-like structure. It separates the water into two parts, so that there is water above the raqia and water below it (v. 7). The waters above are kept at bay so the world can become inhabitable. On the third day (vv. 9-10), the water below the raqia is “gathered to one place” to form the sea and allow the dry land to appear.

Ancient Israelites “saw” this barrier when they looked up. There were no telescopes, space exploration, or means of testing the atmosphere. They relied on what their senses told them. Even today, looking up at a clear sky in open country, the sky seems to “begin” at the horizons and reaches up far above. Ancient Israelites and others in that part of the world assumed the world was flat, and so it looked like the earth is covered by a dome, and the “blue sky” is the “water above” held back by the raqia. The translation “firmament” (i.e., firm) gets across this idea of a solid structure. Biblical scholars agree on this understanding of raqia.

Psalm 150:1 Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Sirach 43:1 The pride of the height, the clear firmament, The beauty of heaven, with his glorious shew; Sirach 43:8 The month is called after her name, increasing wonderfully in her changing, Being an instrument of the armies above, shining in the firmament of heaven; In Psalm 150:1 The Heavenly dome is referred to as the Mighty Firmament. The Hebrew word Mighty, עֹז, means, fortified, strong, well founded. HALOT

Nasa has stated numerous times humans can’t get past low earth orbit. President Barak Obama said it too at one time during his time in office. Hillary Clinton said maybe one day we’ll push through that window in the sky. Why do they say this? The firmament stops us leaving earth’s atmosphere. The US Military exploded many nuclear missiles into it during operation Dominique and Fishbowl. This expanse, this dome, the Lord has made regulates our weather, protects our atmosphere and enhances our view of the heavenly bodies. It is vitally important to all creatures on the earth. The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork.

Jubilees 2:6-8 And the waters did so as He commanded them, and they retired from off the face of the earth into one place outside of this firmament, and the dry land appeared. And on that day He created for them all the seas according to their separate gathering-places, and all the rivers, and the gatherings of the waters in the mountains and on all the earth, and all the lakes, and all the dew of the earth, and the seed which is sown, and all sprouting things, and fruit-bearing trees, and trees of the wood, and the garden of Eden, in Eden, and all plants after their kind. These four great works God created on the third day. And on the fourth day He created the sun and the moon and the stars, and set them in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon all the earth, and to rule over the day and the night, and divide the light from the darkness.

Sibylline Oracles 3:83-87 And the whole firmament in its varied forms shall fall on the divine earth and on the sea: and then shall flow a ceaseless cataract of raging fire, and shall burn land and sea, and the firmament of heaven and the stars and creation itself it shall cast into one molten mass and clean dissolve. Revelation 20:11 11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2 Peter 3:10–13 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Enoch 18:1-5 I saw the treasuries of all the winds: I saw how He had furnished with them the whole creation and the firm foundations of the earth. And I saw the corner-stone of the earth: I saw the four winds which bear [the earth and] the firmament of the heaven. «And I saw how the winds stretch out the vaults of heaven», and have their station between heaven and earth: «these are the pillars of the heaven». I saw the winds of heaven which turn and bring the circumference of the sun and all the stars to their setting. I saw the winds on the earth carrying the clouds: I saw «the paths of the angels.

When Christ returns at the end of the age, He will bring severe judgment upon the earth. The Lord sits above the heavens and looks down upon the earth beholding the people of the earth as grasshoppers. When Jesus Christ returns the heavens will be rolled up as a scroll. The people on the earth will then see the Lord sitting upon His throne. They will behold the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven and will become greatly afraid. They will try and hide from the Lord sitting on His heavenly throne and the Lamb Who is coming back to judge the earth. If the stars are not lights set in the firmament but huge bodies in outer space they would destroy the earth if they fell upon it. Consider the following Scriptures.

Matthew 24:29–30 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation 6:12–16 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

Remember what Joshua did to defeat the Amorites when time was running out. He commanded the sun and moon to stand still. Shouldn’t he have commanded the earth to stand still. No. He even commanded them to stand still over particular places on the earth. Therefore the sun is not 93,000,000 miles away but close by. Joshua 10:12–13 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. See Habakkuk 3:11

Psalm 19:1–6 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, And rejoices like a strong man to run its race. Its rising is from one end of heaven, And its circuit to the other end; And there is nothing hidden from its heat. Polaris or the Polar star is fixed above the North pole. How could this be if the earth orbits the sun? However, if the earth is a fixed circular plane with the sun and moon traversing their circuits above it then everything fits.

The tabernacle of the sun is within the ends of the heavens, ie the Firmament is the tabernacle. The Hebrew word tabernacle Psalms 19:6אֹ֫הֶל, is translated tent in Isaiah 40:22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. See Habakkuk 3:11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation. In Genesis 1:14-18. God says three times God says that these lights are set IN THE FIRMAMENT OF THE HEAVENS. The sun comes out of his chamber and goes around his circuit, giving light ON THE EARTH. (Gen 1:17) If the earth were moving, how could the sun make a circuit? Circle, תְּקוּפָה: hif. to encircle, go round in a circle; Solomon perhaps the wisest man on Earth said; The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, And hastens to the place where it arose. Eccles 1:5 The word hasten שׁאף means to strive, press on. Doesn’t that sound like a strong man running a race?

The Polar star alone stands still over the north pole. All other heavenly bodies travel their courses in the heavens. Job 38:31–33 “Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, Or loose the belt of Orion? Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season? Or can you guide the Great Bear with its cubs? Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you set their dominion over the earth? Isaiah 40:25–26 “To whom then will you liken Me, Or to whom shall I be equal?” says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing.

Time lapse photos show the constellations moving in a circular motion above the earth. The experiment known as “Airy’s Failure” proved that the stars move relative to a stationary Earth and not the other way around. By first filling a telescope with water to slow down the speed of light inside, then calculating the tilt necessary to get the starlight directly down the tube, Airy failed to prove the heliocentric theory since the starlight was already coming in the correct angle with no change necessary, and instead proved the geocentric model correct. The book of Enoch explains with mathematical precision the sun’s path and how it changes according to the various seasons, effecting the hours of day light. It also explains the path of the moon with its many phases. You should read the following with amazement. This was penned 3000bc! I have included the full chapters at the end. below is a portion.

3 And I saw six portals in which the sun rises, and six portals in which the sun sets: and the moon rises and sets in these portals, and the leaders of the stars and those whom they lead: six in the east and six in the west, and all following each other in accurately corresponding order: also many windows to the right and left of these portals. 4 And first there goes forth the great luminary, named the Sun, and his circumference is like the circumference of the heaven, and he is quite filled with illuminating and heating fire. 37 As he rises, so he sets and decreases not, and rests not, but runs day and night, and his light is sevenfold brighter than that of the moon; but as regards size they are both equal.

731 And after this law I saw another law dealing with the smaller luminary, which is named the Moon. 2 And her circumference is like the circumference of the heaven, and her chariot in which she rides is driven by the wind, and light is given to her in (definite) measure. 3 And her rising and setting change every month: and her days are like the days of the sun, and then her light is uniform (i.e. full) it amounts to the seventh part of the light of the sun. The Divine Scriptures are the authority on science, history and theology. We should not come to the Bible with scientific presuppositions but allow God’s Word to shape our world view. Science continually changes, God’s Word is constant and infallible.

The Earth And The Sea

God formed the earth on 2nd day also. He separated the seas from the dry land. He set limits or boundaries for the oceans, seas and lakes. They would no longer cover the earth as they had in the beginning. The Lord has established a place for the oceans and sea creatures and also a dry dwelling place for mankind and the animals. Genesis 1:2, 9-10 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. Psalm 136:6 To Him who laid out the earth above the waters, For His mercy endures forever. God says that He spread abroad the earth in a number of scriptures. The words spread out רקע to stamp firmly, tread, stamp out. HALOT These words don’t describe something you would do on a sphere. Firstly, the earth is a flat surface.

Isaiah 44:24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself; Isaiah 42:5 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it: The Pillars of the earth, foundations of the earth and its cornerstone are also integral parts of support for the earth. Job 38:1–11 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said: “Who is this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge? Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me. “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy? “Or who shut in the sea with doors, When it burst forth and issued from the womb; When I made the clouds its garment, And thick darkness its swaddling band; When I fixed My limit for it, And set bars and doors; When I said, ‘This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!’ This is because there is an Ice Wall all around the earth (360 degrees). See photos at the end. God calls them bars and doors.

Second Esdras 16:55-62 He said, “Let the earth be made,” and it was made, and “Let the heaven be made,” and it was made. At his word the stars were fixed in their places, and he knows the number of the stars. He searches the abyss and its treasures; he has measured the sea and its contents; he has confined the sea in the midst of the waters; and by his word he has suspended the earth over the water. He has spread out the heaven like a dome and made it secure upon the waters; he has put springs of water in the desert, and pools on the tops of the mountains, so as to send rivers from the heights to water the earth. 61 He formed human beings and put a heart in the midst of each body, and gave each person breath and life and understanding, and the spirit of Almighty God, who surely made all things and searches out hidden things in hidden places

God has confined the sea in the midst of the waters. Again this refers to the ice wall that surrounds the outer rim of the earth. The dome, ie firmament rests upon these frozen waters also. Psalm 104:5–8 You who laid the foundations of the earth, So that it should not be moved forever, You covered it with the deep as with a garment; The waters stood above the mountains. At Your rebuke they fled; At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away. They went up over the mountains; They went down into the valleys, To the place which You founded for them.

1 Chronicles 16:30 says the same thing. Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved. Psalm 104:5 You who laid the foundations of the earth, so that it should not be moved forever. God says the Earth will not be moved forever! Be moved, מָ֫טָה, מָ֫טוּ; be made to stagger. Also translated in the Bible, be shaken, removed. HALOT. Does this describe a planet that spins at over 1000 MPH and travels around the sun at 66,000 MPH? I THINK NOT. Secondly, the earth is fixed, it will not be moved forever.

Job 38:18 Have you comprehended the breadth of the earth? Tell Me, if you know all this. Psalm 65:5 By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas; Isaiah 11:12 He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth. Job 11:9 Their measure is longer than the earth and broader than the sea.

The 4 corners of the earth and the ends of the earth is not language that suits a sphere. However if you are referring to a circular plane such language fits well. The Hebrew word for corners כָּנָף means wing or extremity. HALOT Can you have ends or corners to the earth if it’s a globe? No because east meets west eventually! Would you describe its measurement with breadth and length or with circumference? Notice there is no mention of height, only depth where God draws a circle on the face of the deep. Doesn’t a face refer to a flat surface, like a watch, or a person? Job 38:13–14: That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it? It takes on form like clay under a seal, And stands out like a garment. When a seal is pressed against wax on paper or parchment it forces the wax to be flat with a turned up lip around the edge. These descriptions don’t relate to a globe but to a flat circular disc. The ends of the earth and the breadth of the earth are 2 dimensional.

Revelation 20:7–9 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. The word breadth πλάτος means, extent from side to side, breadth, width, The LSJ Lexicon says, b. Math., breadth, ie, the 2nd dimension. 2. plane surface. Again, this describes a flat surface and not a globe.

If the earth is a flat circular plane that does not move, it becomes the central focus of creation. Does not the Bible say this. Where does the creation account focus most of its attention? The Earth. Psalm 8:3–6 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet. This Geo - Centric view was believed by most cultures of the world until the last 5 hundred years.

God says that He sits above the circle of the earth. חוּג circle, The earth conceived as a disc Isa 40:22; The horizon on the sea Prov 8:27; The vault of heaven Job 22:14; A different Hebrew word would be used to describe a sphere or ball. see Isaiah 22:18 a Ball כַּדּוּר. A circle is 2 dimensional not 3. A sphere is 3 dimensional. Isaiah 40:21–22 Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. The Hebrew word for circle is used 8 times in the Old Testament. It means a 2 dimensional circular shape. Consider the following Scriptures. Joshua 6:11: So he had the ark of the Lord circle the city, going around it once. Then they came into the camp and lodged in the camp.

Job 22:14 Thick clouds cover Him, so that He cannot see, And He walks above the circle of heaven.’ Proverbs 8:26–29 While as yet He had not made the earth or the fields, Or the primal dust of the world. When He prepared the heavens, I was there, When He drew a circle on the face of the deep, When He established the clouds above, When He strengthened the fountains of the deep, When He assigned to the sea its limit, So that the waters would not transgress His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth. Job 26:10 He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters, At the boundary of light and darkness. We have seen the heavens, the earth and the face of the deep all have a circle. The best understanding from all of this is a round circular plane with a dome over the top that curves down to the edge of the disc. Only with a flat earth model can the face of the deep (oceans), the Earth and the heavens (&Firmament) all be circular. Thirdly, the Earth is a circular Plane

The World Beneath The Earth

There are a number of places God has made at the ends of the earth or under the earth. See Rev 9:11; 11:7; 8; 20:1-7 Sheol, Hades, Tarturus and the Abyss ie, the Bottomless Pit. Perhaps David reflected on these in Psalm 139:7–10 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. Enoch describes seeing these places. I quote from 1 Enoch LES (Lexham English Septuagint)

Enoch 18:1–5 (LES) I saw the treasures of all the winds; I saw that in them he ordered all creation and the foundation of the earth. And I saw the stone of the corner of the earth. I saw the four winds lifting the earth and the firmament of the heaven. And they stood between earth and heaven. I saw the winds of the heavens turning and completing the wheel of the sun and all the stars. I saw the winds upon the earth lifting up with the cloud. I saw the limits of the earth and the support of the heaven above. The word limits, πέρας means, a set point as farthest end of a space, end, limit, boundary. BDAG

At the beginning God placed many of the angels that sinned into prison. There are many references to entities or beings under the earth or in the lower parts of the earth, not in the center of it. Fallen angels, evil spirit and sinners are bound in the lower parts of the earth awaiting their final judgment. Jesus Christ descended into the lower parts of the earth. Ephesians 4:9. He preached to the spirits in prison who were disobedient in Noah’s time. One day those under the earth will bow the knee and testify Jesus Christ is Lord. Phil 2:9-11; Rev 5:13. 1 Peter 3:19-20: One day these prisoners will stand before God’s throne to be judged.

1. Sin originated with Lucifer who lead a rebellion against God and took 1/3 of the angels with Him. Isa 14:12-15; Ezek 28:11-19; Rev 12:3-4. 2. Satan disguised as the Serpent enticed Adam and Eve to sin. Through Adam and Eve sin entered into the human race. 3. A further transgression took place in the days of Jared when 200 Watcher Angels descended on Mount Hermon. They took wives from the daughters of men, having children with them. This incursion led to widespread wickedness and violence amongst mankind. This culminated in God’s judgment of a worldwide flood to remove the wicked. See the following Scriptures.

Genesis 6:1–7 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. Enoch 7:1–6 Then they took for themselves women, each of them choosing a woman for themselves. They began to go to them and defile them. And they taught them sorcery and enchantments and cutting of roots and explained herbs to them. But those who became pregnant brought forth great giants from three thousand cubits. These giants ate up the produce of the men. When the men were not able to provide for them, the giants had courage against them and ate up the men. And they began to sin against birds and wild animals and reptiles and fish, and each one of them ate up the flesh and drank the blood. Then the earth brought up charges against the lawless ones.

Enoch 10:1–16 Then the Most High, the Great Holy One, spoke about these things; and he sent Istrael to the son of Lemech and said: “Say to him on behalf of my name, ‘Hide yourself,’ and reveal to him the end that is coming, that the whole earth is destroyed, and a flood is about to happen among all the earth and utterly destroy everything that is in it. And teach him that he should flee, and his seed will remain in all the generation of the ages.” And he said to Raphael, “Bind Azael hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness; open the desert that is in the Daduel and throw him there. And place under him the rugged and sharp stones, and let darkness cover him. Let him live there forever: cover up his appearance and let no light be seen. For in the day of great judgment he will be led away into the burning.

The earth that the angels removed was healed. But reveal the healing of the earth so that they may heal the blow, so that all the children of the people may not be destroyed with the whole mystery that the watchmen ordered and showed to their children. And the whole earth was destroyed and laid waste by the works of Azael’s teaching. Ascribe to him all sins.” And the Lord said to Gabriel, “Go against the bastards, against the base ones and the children of fornication, and destroy the children of the watchmen among the people. Send them to the battle of destruction, for they will not have a long life. And there will not be any questioning to their fathers, even concerning themselves. For they hoped to live an eternal life and each of them will live five hundred years.”

Then Michael said, “Go and make known to Semiaza and to those remaining with him, those women with whom they mixed, being defiled by them in their uncleanness. Should their sons ever be slaughtered and see the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them for seventy generations in the wooded vales of the earth until the days of their judgment and consummation, until the judgment of the ages of ages is completed. Then they will be led away into the gaping abyss of fire and into the torture and into the jail, being shut up forever. And whoever is burned up and destroyed from that time, they will be bound up together with them until the completion of the generation. Destroy all the spirits of the false ones and the sons of the watchmen because of their wrongdoings to humans. Destroy all wrongdoing from the earth, and every work of wickedness will be forsaken. Let the plant of righteousness and truth be revealed forever. It will be planted with joy.

God judged these 200 fallen Watcher angels by allowing them to watch the death of their children as these giants fought against each other. Then He had the angels bound and cast into an abyss. Enoch 12:4-6 summarizes God’s judgment on them. Enoch 18:5-16 I saw» at the end of the earth the firmament of the heaven above. And I proceeded and saw a place which burns day and night, where there are seven mountains of magnificent stones, three towards the east, and three towards the south. And as for those towards the east, 〈one〉 was of coloured stone, and one of pearl, and one of jacinth, and those towards the south of red stone. But the middle one reached to heaven like the throne of God, of alabaster, and the summit of the throne was of sapphire. And I saw a flaming fire. And beyond these mountains Is a region the end of the great earth: there the heavens were completed. And I saw a deep abyss, with columns «of heavenly fire, and among them I saw columns» of fire fall, which were beyond measure alike towards the height and towards the depth.

And beyond that abyss I saw a place which had no firmament of the heaven above, and no firmly founded earth beneath it: there was no water upon it, and no birds, but it was a waste and horrible place. I saw there seven stars like great burning mountains, and to me, when I inquired regarding them, The angel said: ‘This place is the end of heaven and earth: this has become a prison for the stars and the host of heaven. And the stars which roll over the fire are they which have transgressed the commandment of the Lord in the beginning of their rising, because they did not come forth at their appointed times. And He was wroth with them, and bound them till the time when their guilt should be consummated (even) ‹for ten thousand years›.’

Enoch 21:1–10 Then I visited an unprepared place. There I beheld an awesome work: I saw neither heaven above, nor did I behold the established earth, but an unprepared and fearful place. And there I beheld seven of the stars of heaven bound and thrown into it like great mountains burning with fire. Then I said, “For what reason was this necessary and why were they thrown here?” Then Uriel, who is one of the holy angels who was with me (and who went before the angels), said to me, “Enoch, for what reason do you ask, and why are you zealous for the truth? These are from the stars of heaven, those passing by the command of the Lord. And they were bound here until the fulfillment of numberless years, the time served for their sins.”

From there I visited another place that is more fearful, and I beheld awesome works. In that place a great fire was alighted and burning. And the place had a crevice into the deep, full of pillars of great fire going down. Neither measure nor breadth was I able to see or conjecture. Then I said, “How fearful is this place and how terrible to behold!” Then one of the holy angels who was with me answered, saying to me, “Enoch, why are you terrified and trembling in this way?” And I answered, “Because of this fearful place and because of the appearance of this terror.” And he said, “This place is a prison of angels. They will be held together here forever.”

1 Peter 3:19–20: by whom also He (Jesus Christ) went and preached to the spirits in prison, who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.

The account of the rich man and Lazarus talks of two places, Hades and Abraham’s Bosom. Luke 16:19-26 The saints in Abraham’s Bosom were taken to Paradise, (heaven) by Christ after His death. The tree of life is in Paradise even as it was in Eden. This is a blessed place where God walks with His creation. The Jews believed paradise to be like the Garden of Eden spoken of in Genesis 2 and 3. In fact the LXX version of the Old Testament translates the Garden of Eden with the word Paradise 47 times, 13 times in Genesis. In Ezekiel 28:13 it uses Paradise speaking of Lucifer, before his fall, being in the Garden of Eden. See Ephesians 4:8-10; 2 Corinthians 5:1-8; 12:1-4; Hades, Tartarus, and the Abyss all refer to spiritual prisons where suffering and torment are endured by those incarcerated. see Luke 23:39-43

Luke 16:19–26 “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s Bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’

Luke 23:40–43 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Ephesians 4:8–10 Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.” (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)

2 Corinthians 5:1, 6–8 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 12:1–4 It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord: I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows - how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

The Lake of Fire is the final abode for all the wicked both Men and angels. It burns continually with fire and brimstone. In the Old Testament, Gehenna, was a dump, a place of burning outside the city of Jerusalem. It came to represent the final abode of the wicked. Hades the prison of the wicked now will ultimately be cast into the Lake of Fire. Christ referred to this place as the Outer Darkness, Everlasting Fire. No one is in there yet. On the last day all the wicked, both men and angels will be judged by God and cast in there. See Isaiah 24:21-23; Revelation 20:4; 11-15; Daniel 7:9-10; Jude 6; 14-15; 2 Peter 2:4–5;

Isaiah 24:21–23 It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth. They will be gathered together, As prisoners are gathered in the pit, And will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished. Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; For the Lord of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem And before His elders, gloriously.

Jude 14–15 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

Daniel 7:9–10 “I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire; A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened.

And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Jude 6: And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 2 Peter 2:4–5: For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell (Greek. Tartarus) and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;

Why teach the earth is a globe rotating every 24 hrs? No one has proven this. The Michaelson - Morely experiment proved it doesn’t move. I believe the reason is that It dethrones God as the Creator whose masterpiece, the earth is the central focus of the universe.

The Michelson–Morley experiment was a scientific experiment to find the presence and properties of a substance called aether, a substance believed to fill empty space. The experiment was done by Albert Michelson and Edward Morley in 1887. Since waves in water need something to move in (water) and sound waves do as well (air), it was believed that light also needed something to move in. Scientists in the 18th century named this substance "aether," after the Greek god of light. They believed that aether was all around us and that it also filled the vacuum of space. Michelson and Morley created this experiment to try and prove the theory that aether existed. They did this with a device called an interferometer. The experiment[change | change source]

A Michelson interferometer uses the same in principle as the original experiment. But it uses a laser for a light source. The Earth travels very quickly (more than 100,000 km per hour) around the Sun.[1] If aether exists, the Earth moving through it would cause a "wind" in the same way that there seems to be a wind outside a moving car. To a person in the car, the air outside the car would seem like a moving substance. In the same way, aether should seem like a moving substance to things on Earth. The interferometer was designed to measure the speed and direction of the "aether wind" by measuring the difference between the speed of light traveling in different directions. It measured this difference by shining a beam of light into a mirror that was only partially coated in silver. Part of the beam would be reflected one way, and the rest would go the other. Those two parts would then be reflected back to where they were split apart, and recombined. By looking at interference patterns in the recombined beam of light, any changes in speed because of aether wind could be seen. They found that there was in fact no substantial difference in the measurements. This was puzzling to the scientific community at the time, and led to the creation of various new theories to explain the result. The most important was Albert Einstein's special theory of relativity.

The book of Enoch perfectly explains the sun’s path and how it changes according to the various seasons, effecting the hours of day light. It also explains the path of the moon with its many phases. You should read the following with amazement. This was penned 3000bc!

Sea Level. Water always finds its own level. Looking across water it is always flat. Whether in a glass, lake or the ocean. Islands more than 100 miles apart should not be seen because of curvature. Yet they are.

Planes flying at a fixed altitude would need to be constantly dipping their nose to stay level with the curvature of the earth. But they don’t need to.

Planes flying to the south pole should end upside down if they fly parallel to the earth. But of course they don’t.

Light rays passing through clouds show a wide degree of angle. Should this much angle be seen if the sun is really 93 million miles away?

Why have ships sailing around the southern extreme sailed more than 60,000 miles following the ice wall at the south pole? This should not happen. Captain Cook didn’t reach Antarctica but sailed 60,000 miles around a pathway bellow the Antarctic circle. Other sailors in more recent times in steel ships have also recorded this. Only a circular plane can account for this. There is a large ice wall around the outer extremity of the plane.

Explorers who have travelled beyond this ice wall have found the Dome, ie firmament.

The horizon line always rises up to eye level. How could this be if the earth is a globe? Shouldn’t the horizon line drop down to the level of our feet? After all the curvature of the earth drops down, doesn’t it?

What holds the oceans and seas from flinging out into space? Gravity. Why doesn’t gravity affect Helium and hydrogen balloons, or airships filled with hydrogen? How do anti-gravity craft defy gravity? Or is it just electrical energy, ie magnetic energy? Does density allow objects lighter than air to rise into the atmosphere whilst those heavier than air fall to earth?

How did NASA show the lunar landing of the Apollo 11 Mission (from outside on the moon’s surface) landing on the moon? Did the camera crew arrive the day before?

The Earth as a globe has only been taught since the 15th century. The theory could not be proven because no one could get up high enough until the latter part of the 20th century. Yet it was still accepted much like evolution was. People have not critically judged it.

Nasa have said repeatedly that they cannot get past a low earth orbit (bellow 1,200 miles high). President Barrack Obama said the same thing. How then did they go to the moon some 248,000 miles away? This would be a further 246,800 miles away. Did they in fact go to the moon. Why do the rockets not go straight up into space? Why do they always have a curved trajectory towards space?

In May 1931 a physicist, Auguste Piccard’s journey to through the stratosphere to a height of 51, 462 feet high. He then saw the Firmament and the waters above the firmament in his craft called the Hennessy. He said that he saw earth as a flat disc with an upturned edge, there was no curvature.

In 1946 White Sands New Mexico, a captured Nazi V2 rocket was equipped with a camera and was launched reaching an altitude of 65 miles. The video stills show an Earth with no curvature.

Why do we say Sunrise and Sunset? We even say that the moon rises at a certain time. Shouldn’t we say Earthrise? That is how we have described it for years.

How could the engineers dig out 193 kms of rock the Suez Canal allowing no curvature?

How do the rays of light have so much angle if the sun is 93,000,000 miles away? If you follow the rays back to their point of origin you will find the sun is above the clouds and not very far away. In one of the photographs bellow the rays of light angle upwards. How is that possible?

As you can see from these photographs the clouds are all around the sun. They are behind it, in front of it, above it and beneath it. How is this possible? The Sun is 93,000,000 miles away, isn’t it?

The clouds surround the moon as they also surround the sun at times. The moon is not 248,000 miles away. It is much closer than we are told and about the same size as the sun. This is why we have eclipse of the sun and moon. Enoch 72:37 As he rises, so he sets and decreases not, and rests not, but runs day and night, and his light is sevenfold brighter than that of the moon; but as regards size they are both equal. Psalm 19:4–5 Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. If “gravity” is really a force strong enough to hold the world’s oceans, buildings, people and atmosphere stuck to the surface of a spinning ball, then it is impossible for “gravity” to also simultaneously be weak enough to allow little birds, bugs, and planes to take-off and travel freely unabated in any direction. If “gravity” is strong enough to curve the massive expanse of oceans around a globular Earth, it would be impossible for fish and other creatures to swim through such forcefully held water.

The horizon always rises to meet your eye level never no matter how high in altitude you go. Even at 20 miles up the horizon rises to meet the observer/camera. This is only physically possible if the earth is a huge “endless” flat plane. If Earth were a globe, no matter how large, as you ascended the horizon would stay fixed and the observer/camera would have to tilt downward, looking down further and further to see it.

The experiment known as “Airy’s Failure” proved that the stars move relative to a stationary Earth and not the other way around. By first filling a telescope with water to slow down the speed of light inside, then calculating the tilt necessary to get the starlight directly down the tube, Airy failed to prove the heliocentric theory since the starlight was already coming in the correct angle with no change necessary, and instead proved the geocentric model correct.

The circular pattern of the constellations points to a fixed stable earth. If we were moving you would not see this on time lapse photography.
