No, we who are strong. Lots of beer, the weakness of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Let each of us. Please his Neighbour for his good to hear edification. Freedom Christ, did not please himself but as it is written, the reproaches of those who reproached the fell upon me. But the word of Christ richly dwell within you with all wisdom teaching and admonishing. One, another with Psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God, and whatever you do in word, or deed. Do all in the name of the Lord. Jesus giving thanks to him to God the Father dear heavenly father. We've entered into this time of support that we might be able to intercede on behalf of those who are in need and we might be able to direct our relationship with you and call upon you as our heavenly father to release resources to be involved in the lives of people. And that we thank you that you have told us that you are responsive to our prayers. We don't do this. Just to benefit ourselves prayer is not about self edification, Lord, but it is about Cooperative Ministry, with those people who you have placed Us in this world with the Wii. My minutes are 2, the Lost, and we might minister to those who know you that they might be edified in growing the relationship with you. So we thank you for this time. We ask you to be engaged in our prayers and we recognize of course that we must exercise 1st John 1:9 make sure the word Fellowship so we are praying I rightly and the same thing applies when we come to study your words. So pray that you would give us that opportunity if we missed it but will let us be prepared for your word as we jump into the study here dealing with Ezekiel 37. We thank you for your great provision. We pray these things in Christ Jesus name amen.

So, what do you want week was Thanksgiving eating so couple weeks ago when we laugh.

Came together.

We've been working our way through a consideration of the phrase.

Concerning David?

And we've been working through. The relationship or let's go at the contact of the Messiah, so we can make sure that when it comes to this particular phrase, the phrases, my servant David, I didn't say it. So when we get to that point, and how to treat it, and if it meets the qualifications. So part of what we're looking at, is, what are the qualifications? What are the descriptions? What is the background? That is surrounding the Messiah. And so, we worked our way through quite a few items along the way. Last time, we looked at the idea that there is a corrupt, Shepherd View, and then there isn't a true Shepherd view. We looked at the idea that God will Shepherd his people that God gives Shepherds to his people, 50. Will be in Israel. That David himself did not meet the crew. Shepherd ideal fully anticipated. So David himself. Did not qualify to be the Messiah or the shepherd, but he predicted it. He was one of those who prophesied about the Messiah. We saw the Messiah cares, for those who are weak and needy, that is part of the character and intent of the Messiah. He cares for those who are in need, is a deliverer to those who need to be delivered. That we saw that we had an ultimate false Shepherd out there in the narrative that we needed to be aware of that. Ultimate false Shepherd, is the Antichrist himself and so he comes, he appears to be a Shepherd. He brings peace with himself. He acts like he cares for those who are weak and needy. He acts like he cares about the people of Israel and then Midway through the tribulation as we recognize it at three and a half years, he consecrates his purposes by committing the abomination of desolation or he sacrifices on the purported altar to God, he sacrifices a sacrifice for himself.

Lift himself up to be the Messiah, to be the inheritor of the world, to me to deliver of Israel to be. He who the people of Israel needed and everyone who is Julia, should know should see and realize they don't know run and hide, but it doesn't happen that way. So, anyways, we had the ultimate fall Shepherd, who we saw, and then we had the crew Shepherd who came onto the scene. Now, the true Shepherd,

Is the three the excuse me. The Theocratic ruler. That the Aquatic ruler. As we know, we'll be Christ when he was here. And his first Advent, he showed himself to be the true Shepherd. Now, there is a Good Shepherd, there is a great Shepherd. There is no true Shepherd, as a term in Scripture that that I'm aware of, however, what we are doing is where differentiating between the false Shepherd, the Antichrist and the true Shepherd, which is our Lord Christ. So, that should bring us into today and today were picking up the subcategory.

Yeshua is Jesus. Rescued Israel. So this category were talking about the Messiah, being the rescue, or of Israel. So the final fulfillment of the prophecy that were looking at in Ezekiel 37 is going to involve rice Rescue of Israel nationally from the Antichrist armies in the campaigns that are there in Armageddon. All the armies of the world will be pulled together.

They will be brought to the scene of this giant valley. And the war of all wars will be waged here in the attack, will be on the person and the people of Israel, and it will be the Messiah himself will come and deliver and rescue Israel. We got a couple passes just to look at. So Zakaria 14 versus 2 through 5. Zakaria 14 will read it, through here for you. Starting in verse 24, I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem. The city shall be taken. The house is rifled and the women ravished. House of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnants of the people shall not be cut off from the city. First three of them, the Lord will go forth and fight against those Nations as he fights in the day of battle. Verse for that day, his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which face is Jerusalem on the East. So it's on the east side as the sun comes. So too. Will the rescue of the Messiah is like the sun rises and faithfulness, the Messiah will come and he will land on the place. That is the Mount of Olives food. That is not typology. That is actuality is the certainty of the Deliverance just like the sun. Coming over the East, he will be landing in that place where they look out. The first thing they see is a little bit of light and then right there on the Mount of Olives, right? At that point. The Sun Peaks. From behind the Mount of Olives the sun rises there. And so to the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ will be landing on that spot. The same place of expectation, the same place of focus and everyone who greets, the morning will be able to greet their savior as well and it says and the Mount of Olives shall be split into. So as his foot touches on the the landlord, some point after he comes down on the land, that mountain will split into East2west. So it will split from the East to the West. So, folks On The Other Side of the Mountain chords them, the mountain will split it, and it will pull apart as if to say that which blocks you from seeing the Sun. And again, I'm not out with a rising here, I'm just pointing out the picture that will be there and very strong that the Mount of Olives will split it. And if it happens at a sunrise, if that's the moment that the Lord touches down the mountain and the sun would be shining through straight through to them, not blocked by the mount. Itself. And he continues making a very large belly. South of the mountain shall move towards the North. Manhattan, the mountain will move towards the South. So there's going to be a great valley that will be put in place. That will be pulling beside these two mountains.

you might remember a few versus out there, like every Valley Every Valley shall be exalted and every Mountain brought low. What's that talking about? It? Talking about the second coming of the Messiah at the point as she prepares his Messianic Kingdom. He is going to relevel all the resources of the world. He's going to change the geography of the world. He's going to expand out, it was real. Raise Up is real raise up, Jerusalem to be the highest place in all of the world because from wherever you go in the world people will say let us go up interesting because in the history of Jerusalem it was always said let us go up to Jerusalem. Didn't matter if you came from up in the mountains it was actually higher than Jerusalem. You still use the terminology, let us go up to Jerusalem. Who is part of the vernacular part of the thinking of the Jews because Jerusalem is a high and lifted up Place exhaust. Honorable matching the character, the movement of our God understanding that he is high and lifted up. So to his drool on it is an honorific way of understanding or thinking about Jerusalem, but after the Lord is finished with his leveling and his laying low, it won't be any more actual intrude. Wherever you are, the world will go up to Jerusalem. So when they say, they let us go up to the mountain of our Lord and to the house of the god of Jacob and he will teach us of his ways. And we will learn of his pass.

It will be literal it will be real people or give me traveling from all over the world to be taught and go to the fields in the surrounding areas of Jerusalem and the huge Temple. So just give you that background to tie into what we're looking here.

Yeah, it does. And I haven't thought it through extensively, but I have thought about it. And in my mind, we have a huge changes. We go from civilization one and then we have to know a flood and then the Reformation of the entire planet and then Peter refers to it, a couple of times, Paul refers to it. And so then as we go through the tribulation, we are told that everyone will be gathered to the place of judgment. So I'm thinking the entire population of the Earth, the planet who has survived, Armageddon will be brought there and some will be sent off into place of judgment. And others will be brought to a Couple ways to do and we have to work through the details. I'm not sure what and he's teaching on this early but I seen a few people flip flop back and forth there so I can like a fish out of water, but we might have a marriage supper type of, you know, supper here on Earth and which we will be ensconced in the presence and protection of Lord, Jesus Christ himself, while the world is being reformed. Now I wouldn't risk anything on that. I'm just expecting that from what I'm reading in scripture, but I do knew I do know this, but everyone who is say they will move into the Messianic Kingdom. I know that everyone will be protected. I know that the Earth is going to be changed and so I just assumed there is something there and he is protecting his people. And, and, you know, I don't know that it's going to be like a noetic Deliverance because world was judged by water in this case. I know of no judgement by what, I just know that part of the curse of sin will be removed from the planet and when that happens, I think the planet will heal itself. It will be a healing, not saying that the planet has a mind and body or anything, but the Lord in his in his pulling back of the curse of sin is also going to be moving forward with the healing of the planet. That is going to be happening at that. Point in my mind means, partially bringing the continents back together. There are some scriptures, we're not going to get into it now, but I can maybe pull into it later, that there might be a single Pangea. That is a one continent presence here on the world, has many understood it to have been prior to the Nowak flood. So yeah, there's some interesting things to work through.

You're not, I'm not sure about that.

Have to think where that where that first comes through, or look it up and yeah, cuz it's not connecting to my mind but let's continue on. So so the Lord sets his feet on the Mount of Olives and then verse five and then you shall flee through my Mountain Valley. So Armageddon is happening. We have the great Armageddon War and what is the first thing that the Lord does? He attacks the enemy? He start slaughtering all those turned against Israel, shows them their Deliverance, the place where the sun rises. And then he establishes a giant, which is going to allow them to escape how the people in Jerusalem Escape. Exactly. I don't know, it's a precipitous drop form of the top of the word Jerusalem he is. But that's Gathered and so somehow they're going to escape. So I don't know if he is going to relevel everything or if someone's got to run down the sides and the mountains and Hills to get over and then down through

Mount Olive dolly. But I guess we'll find out. How does we're going to be right there watching for the Mountain Valley show reach to a Zoll so that's considerable distance away. You show free as you fled from the earthquake in the days of us. Daya king of Judah. Bless the Lord. My God will come and all the saints with you. I didn't prepare any slides or anything that comment on that. But now it's, it's pinging my curiosity, as to how to prevent that. So maybe I'll come back and give you something on. What happened with the earthquake in the day is Isaiah, how everyone fled out in the states and give you the historic connection cuz that could be interesting to know. Another passage we have that's dealing with the same situation. The same scenario as in Revelation chapter 19 verses 11 through 16, Revelation, 19 versus 11 through 16. So I'll start reading verse 11 now, I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse and he who sat on him was called faithful and true. And in righteousness, he judges and makes War verse 12. His eyes were like a flame of fire on his head. Are many crowns. You had a name written, but no one knew except himself. What that means is there is no one who had authority over him. Absolutely. No entity. And all of creation had authority over him because to know someone's name gives you great Authority. You parents know that When you're calling your kid's name, you go. Well, I can tell you an incident, when I was a little kid, my parents live down on low jerlaine, and I thought I was invincible in one day. My parents are talk to some people in the driveway. And I decided I was going to go see the people across the street who had kids my age, the workman's Karen Workman was there and she had a number of kids. I was going to go over and say how I saw you running out across the street and I hear my dad names have power.

And your parents knowing your name. Exhibits, great power over you. I froze and a car came to a screeching halt just feet away from me. Then the guy started, honking his horn went running back to my mom and dad.

No one knows the name of this entity. No one knew except himself for 13. He was clothed with a robe dipped in Blood. And his name is called the word of God. What is this dipped in blood refer to

Well it's referring to someone having shed blood, someone having gone through blood being involved in blood somehow. There's only one way you get blood on your garment. It's by be in contact with it, whether it's yours or someone else's, but he has a room that has been dipped in blood. Let me check on that.

I don't think so because the Miss narrative, it hasn't happened yet. So he was clothed with a robe dipped.

And I hear the word dipped is our word baptie.

It's bapto, which means to death when we get our word, baptized from that same word.

The Belle Vernon. Perfect passive participle, Singularity has done to the robe. Something was the road was taken when it was placed in blood, so I don't know. I don't have an exact understanding of that. Could be a reference to the, you know, death. You know, the Paschal Lamb provision that he died for the sins of the whole world could have to do with identification with the blood of those who have died to this point in the tribulation. So I might have to study that further. So but his name is called the word of God. Verse 14, and the Army is in heaven clothed, in fine linen, white and clean followed him on white horses. No, do you notice? It doesn't say angels in heaven.

Journeys in heaven clothed, in fine, linen, white and clean. Followed him on white horses. the reference to us, we will be with him as he returns, we will be coming close in fine, linen, white and clean because White and clean as a reference to what happens when humans have been redeemed? They have been given clothing that is white and clean as opposed to their previous condition, but we follow on white horses as well.

Now, armies does not exclude angels from being part of it but it's not calling out angels as it does throughout the rest of Revelation here which is why I personally lend lean towards. Whenever there's a question, whenever there's any doubt, I have a tendency to lean towards the literal to go with the normal in that situation, what is probably the case. I don't want to read into it something. So I just accept for the moment that that's where it is. If I get more information, I'll let you know.

Right. So do one knows it. No one can maintain his name but it's revealed to us.

Who is part of the narrative? It's not a, this is not a statement for all of eternity that no one will ever in Alba, turn email his name. No one will have authority over him. What it's

I would go further I'd say no one in all of creation knows his name. Recognizes his name, he alone knows what it is because it comes from God. But we understand, I don't know that. We're being told what his name is. Noah knows. But we do know that he has the name, the word of God, okay? I didn't see anything that join those two together and says and the revealed word of God, the language doesn't see it that way, so we know who he is, but we know him by the name of the the word of God. So out of his mouth goes, a sharp sword that with it. He should strike the Nations and he himself will rule them with a rod of iron. This is a reference back to song to where we read about the coming Messiah, who will rule the world with a rod of iron The Messianic song. And I've been recently introduced into a concept that I'm studying through that. All of the songs are Messianic that all of this song to answer the question about the Messiah. So it doesn't mean that they're all prophetic. That is mean they're all predicted. But that means that the purpose of the song, The to exalt and lift up he who will be shown to be the Esiason out of his mouth goes, a sharp sword that with a, he should strike the nation's, he himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He himself Treads the winepress of the fierceness and Wrath of almighty God, meaning, all those who opposed to God here on Earth, they are being dealt with as if they are grapes. Their lives are being squished. Taken from them. There is a fierce reading, this is not the idea of a of an order to process. This is the idea of a wrathful execution of God's design over those people who have rejected his design, have rejected him have turned and opposed him have sided with Satan, and they will be demolished Fierce way, first 16 and he has on his robe and on his thigh, a name, written king of kings, and Lord of lords,

It sounds like somebody sounds like somebody. I know.

So, we see.

A picture of the end of how the Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus Rescues, Israel.

Knicks were looking at how Sovereign rule replaces Wicked rule, this is laid out again as the Messiah, so we're going through and we're looking at these different categories of teaching about the Messiah. We're looking at that, which describes the situation ultimately will bring this all back and say, does he was described as my servant David, if you meet these criteria here, that will answer a question then who is this? My servant David So Sovereign rule, replace those Wicked. The Divine Deliverance is demonstrated by the Lord's Declaration of sovereign, rule, replacing Wicked roll. We have a couple of passages for that. Go back to Zechariah 14:9.

Zechariah 14. Verse 9 in the Lord. Shall be king over all the Earth and that day it shall be. The Lord is one and his name one.

so, what this means is, there is one ruler And One Singular name that everyone is lifting up when the king takes over the Earth.

So the point we're making here is that there is a sovereign rule. This one king is ruling over all the earth and the Lord says shall be king over all the Earth.

We have that reference. Louie. Look at dinner. Revelation chapter 19. Looking at that verse 15 and 16 and out of his mouth goes, a sharp sword that with it. He should strike the Nations and he himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He himself Treads the winepress of the fierceness and Wrath of almighty God. And he has on his robe and honest name written, king of kings, and Lord of lords. So we are talking about the sovereignty of this coming ruler, he will be Sovereign. There will be no objections, he will rule with a rod of iron in a nut is a concept that the conceptual Understanding no one actually rules with rods of iron. That is not the rod of iron in their hand that allows them to rule over other people. If you have a small Kingdom and you've got a couple of hundred people. One big guy with a rod of iron and then maybe maybe he can rule that Kingdom with a rod of iron. But it what it what it represents is a ruler ship, that is absolute, it's unbendable, it cannot be taken away. Okay, so it is an absolute ruler ship. There is no disputing. The rulership of this Sovereign, he rules with a rod of iron that means when he says something that's the way, it is, that's the way it goes. There are no objections allowed in the story. Absolute rule, which we understand as Sovereign tea and absolute. Ruler is known as a sovereign. That means that they alone have control over a kingdom. And that's what we mean in this day. So when we, as a country, want to be a Sovereign Nation, that means we want to rule our self. We don't want to be ruled by another, we don't want others coming in and ruling us. That's part of the issue that we have behind the invasion of our borders is people who are not us, people who are not citizens are coming here. And the concern is we will lose our sovereignty by people who are not us coming in and becoming part of an overthrow in class or becoming part of another Sovereign, to you tries to overthrow from within. So, if we have a split government, we have people who come on the scene and say, all of you who I haven't been given citizenship side with me, will united, we will have our own country, we will take this country and make it. Our that would be one of the concerns that people have. So Then means that you get to rule what's going on in your country. And one of the points of sovereign T is you have a border which you can enforce Enforcing a border. Sovereignty over your room that is a concern is we have people individual politicians, Etc, who are giving away The Sovereign T of our nation to others. They are not respecting our sovereignty. They are not holding up our sovereignty as an ideal. That's why we have concern. When it comes to the Messianic Kingdom and there will be none of that concern. He will rule with a rod of iron. It will be absolutely will be the song Run in charge. No exceptions at all. Next, we see that we have a problem is political renewal for Israel. They promised political renewal.

1st and 2nd Samuel chapter 7 verse 13.

Whoever verse we want to look at. And speaking of that rule, he shall build a house for my name and I will establish the Throne of his kingdom. Forever.

So there is a reference to a messiah, who is coming a seed of David, someone who will spring up from the line of David who will establish a throne and his kingdom. For another 40 years. For another hundred and twenty years. So no one who has been Keen anywhere along the line underneath David has ever met this criteria because forever is a long time and whoever fulfills this will establish the Throne of his kingdom forever. So the Messiah is going to establish his throne forever. Yes, there is going to be an uprising at the end of a thousand years.

Threatened. The uprising is one in which he is going to allow. We are going to see the top taken off of the pit of Abaddon and all of the demons and Satan himself would have been in. That pit will be released to come and re-engagement spiritual warfare because as we have learned previously, there is no spiritual warfare of the Demonic thousand years of the Millennium. Because at the point that the Lord reforms all of the Earth at the point that he rolls us over from civilization 2 to civilization 3 at that point, every demon, every entity opposed to God will be taken and they will be supposed to have eternal life as angels will be kicked over into this place. And when the Lord wants to show that, even though he had a perfect Kingdom, there are those who still did not align with him. I'm in the human genome and he's going to allow the demons and the humans to join together and he will put them down one last final time. And at that point, we will March them all out and cast them into the Lake of Fire. One by one until everyone has been committed for all the rest of Eternity, and God's kingdom is still established and he will invoke the new heavens and a new Earth, and the New Kingdom will be completely sin-free. Never, again, will a sinful individual arise, the end of sin affecting God's people will be gone and the planet and the universe. And the New Jerusalem will be completely soon free occupied with us. Free and God has established that the Messiah of the line of David.

Who we know to be your shoe. A Jesus Will Rule forever and ever. So that means a straight line going that direction that never stops. It just keeps on going. So the remainder of time I'm ending

We have a second verse to look at witches. In 2nd Samuel. 7:16. So it's just a couple of verses over. Then he speaks of it and he says, I'm your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you, your throne shall be established forever. So couple things that the Lord is making clear the davidic thrown under. Unlike the, The Throne of Saul before him, the davidic throne is established by God not of buying for the people. It's kind of a crazy thing that our constitution says of by and for the people because that was the way that we got the first bad King over Israel by and for the people King Saul. But when God steps in and establishes, it is of by and for God himself that, he established a thrown a singular Throne to be the Throne of his people, the Throne of his promised, the Throne of all chosen to follow after that. Everything everything will be touched and blood on planet Earth. Comes from the Throne of David. So your house in your kingdom, shall be established forever. He says, before you, this is not a temporary thing. Even though the davidic line will come to an end, even though the davidic throne will come to an end under the, the Keens, the man who are all fail, the Messiah will still come out of that line will resurrect that throne. And it will be based on that throne and he will rule that throne and it is the same Throne of promise. It goes back to when God establish it is not a new creation, not a new thing but a new Throne that was resurrected and put in place in the Messianic Kingdom it's the original thrown that means the designated rulership that comes from God himself. it's that same designation that never goes away, that designation will be established and in place in the Messianic Kingdom Any questions on that?

So we see that the Eternal rule will require an eternal descendant of David, the Maasai. However, the Ezekiel passage does not say son. Up David. Or a descendant of David when it refers to that, my servant, David doesn't say my son. David, it says my servant David, the refers to the historical person of David. So my servant David is a reference back to David himself but it's not a reference back to the descendants of David. You get the distinction I'm making, so it's not someone who would come out of the line of David. My servant David is a reference to David. It's speaking of David, it's not speaking to a descendant of David. so it's to be taken, literally, or if we take it, literally, it must be a person who is distinct From the Messiah, why? Because the Messiah is a son of David. He is the son of David, he come from the line of David. He is not David. So the passage stipulates hear David my servant and before we can move to take it allegorically, that is make it mean something other than my servant David to make it me and my son, David. That would be an allegorical reference where we interpret the words, instead of taking the literal meaning and understanding the world before we can move to take it out lagora. Clearly we must have a reason from the context of the passage with forces us to take it. Non literally saying that for example, David is dead does not suffice. Since all of the profits will be Ray. And exercising Ministry in full filling Promise by actually being in the promised land during the reign of the Messiah. So we need more reason, then we'll be called presumptive reasoning. We need more than presumptive reasoning to make my servant David be interpreted in an allegorical fashion. So until we have more than presumptive reasoning until we have actual evidence. It says, for this reason or references something that gives us a break. Then we have to go with the literal but we're not done with our study. I'm just pointing that out at this point, but up to hear, that's what we have and that's what we've realized. so, if we look at Ezekiel 34, Verse 23. Couple things that we will roll through here and then we'll we'll see in concert first 23. Ezekiel 34, I will establish one Shepherd over them and he shall feed them. And here's our concept of Heaven, underlined, my servants, David, this is in Ezekiel 34 verse 23, he shall feed them and be their Shepherd. So, this is a reference to back in Ezekiel 34, my servant David. That's worth 23 and verse 24. The next person we've studied through this from a couple of different directions to get the connection between Shepherd and she and God and Israel's. We've made those connections that are there. Verse 24 says, Endive award will be their God and my servants. David, again, a prince among them by the Lord has spoken. So whoever this, my servant David is, is a prince among them. He is royalty.

So we haven't decided who that is, but we're Connecting the Dots here. We're getting enough information. So that at some point, if we're following the scientific method, when we gathered enough data, we will make a hypothesis but then we will see if that hypothesis is true or not. True. But we don't have enough data yet. We've been working because this is a big subject one-third of scripture is dealing with this subject by enlarged, dealing with the prophecy in the things to come. So, we're dealing with a big subject big list, but we're we're doing fine. We'll walk him through it. So now forward to is equal 37 where we had the same phrase used Again, David, my servant. Now, the order is changed in the English, but it's the exact same thing. David, my servant shall be king over them and they show all have one Shepherd. The show, also walk in my judgment and observe my statutes and do them. So, again, we have a reference to David, my shepherd. And then, in verse 25, again, 34 we got to versus side-by-side dealing with my servant David. And here we have the same thing in. 37:25 says, then they shall dwell, in the land might have given to Jacob my servant where your father's dwelt and they shall dwell there. They their children and their children's children forever and my servant, David shall be their prince forever. So, we're talking about a prince forever were using the phrase. My servant David for David. My servant in English means the same thing.

My servant David shall be a prince show rule over them forever. So we know with a certainty that these two different references in chapter 34. And chapter 37 are the same thing they come together when they mean the exact same thing, the referencing the same person.

All right, so now we want to take a look at the davidic Messiah, the davidic Messiah. So we're moving from looking at a description of the Messiah to looking at the davidic connection. Historically, it seems that the view.

For those who were of the late second temple of Judaism era, which runs from 5:15 BC.

Will help run from 5:15, BC to 70 AD. We got five hundred and seventy-five years between the rebuilding of the second Temple Israel in the Maya Nehemiah all the way up to the destruction of the second temple. Under Titus, General Titus of the Roman Empire in 8074, after the death of resurrection of Christ. Okay, we have this entire era in which people who are Jews are writing

And the view that they have had throughout that time has been that the davidic Shepherd that we have been examining. Is the king Messiah, so they think that the davidic shepherd is the Messiah. That's what the Jews of history of thought. That's what all the mount biblical. But extra-biblical have written over the. Of 575 years, rabbis individuals historians and a big reference to the davidic Shepherd saying that he is the king Messiah, the descendants of David, as opposed to the idea of the resurrected David, so that was been their idea and their perspective. It is the Messiah, it is not David. I know this has certainly been the views of medieval rabbis as well. So the rabbi's between 70-80 up into the 1400 when we had the issuing of the current Hebrew text, we have now, the masoretic text the same, nazarites believe, the same thing, but their forefathers in that 575 year age believed as well. Those

The idea that a descendant of David must be on, the throne is propagated. In the post-exilic uninspired OR apocryphal literature over and over again. So this idea that it must be a son of David. Remember I work through that with you and I said, if it's son of David, then we're not reading the text literal, Sobel evening and we have to have a reason to break that week is to me to say that. It means David, not the Messiah because the Messiah is a sun updated, he is the line of David. So, but all of these rabbis have believed from the time of Ezra and Nehemiah building the Temple all the way up, through the mess around the cage when they put together or Old Testament, created, all the Bell markings Val point system in which we figure out how to pronounce. The scripture says, they have believed that it was a son of David and not David himself. So,

I've had to work through a whole bunch of material and there's a lot to be said on here, but I don't want to get you with it cuz I don't think it's as relevant as all the work that goes into it with what we end up with. I just want to give you this from Randall price overall in his book called secrets of the Dead Sea Scrolls, we find and I'm quoting Randall price here. The eschatological picture here in the rabbinical writings and archaeological manuscript resolve a coming Messiah. Of the tribe of Judah, out of the lineage, I'm faded who will rule over Israel for Everlasting Generations. So that's just saying that all of the rabbinic literature out there even the Dead Sea. Scrolls are saying, they believe the same thing with Jewish perspective is that the servant David is the Messiah. What am I doing? I'm studying up the opposition research. I'm setting up all the information so that you see it. I'm not trying to pull one over on you and say, well this is the way we go. And then without giving you any data, just go there. I want you to see that there are ternative views that we must look that if we are exercising intellectual Integrity than the study of God's word, like a waste of time, it is to correctly, understand what's going on. And I shrunk this way, adjust a paragraph of all the books and articles and stuff that I've read. So, I've made it a minuscule part of what you're hearing tonight. So,

Randall, here is speaking of the rabbinic, writings of the postexilic post testamental so I could write in the New Testament. But other than that. Take that view as well. So there are others who are just red eyes but they are historians. Other types is there room for this idea that one king Messiah would reign as the davidic king in the biblical support. So does the Bible support their View? But it must be the Messiah. A son of David, who rules as my servant, David, who is the ruler? The ruler over with an iron.

Who is ruling over Israel, and want to throw, too much at you. So I'm trying to buy the my tongue a little bit, so I'm good with Cole. Support might be found in Jeremiah 23. Verses five through six. We'll look at that store. We won't get much further than this. So I'm biblical support might be fine. Might be found here to reading and 23 verse 5. Hold the days are coming, says the Lord that I will raise to David, a branch of righteousness. A king, shall reign and prosper and execute judgment. And righteousness in the Earth. Verse 6 in his days, Judah will be saved and Israel will dwell safely. Now, this is his name, by which he will be called the Lord our righteousness.

You always said the canoe for Lord our righteousness.

The time of the Fulfillment of this passage, we're here, Judah and Israel side-by-side cuz notice that's what it says here.

Here we have Israel. Here, we have Judith in his days. Judah and Israel will be saved. Just like other passages. Just like in Ezekiel 37, it talks about The Binding Together of the sticks. So it's Judah and Israel bound together. So here in During our passage in Jeremiah, it's saying the same thing. So Judah and Israel or both restored under a Divine ruler who is identified with David? It is the same time as the Fulfillment of Ezekiel, 37. Our home passage for the study and based on the Epitaph from and Jeremiah cuz that's what is referencing there in Ephrata. The Lord, our righteousness canvas single Shepherd and Keating. Be anyone? Besides the Messiah starting to look like it adds up. Starting to look like. It must be the Messiah. Well, I will have to stop now and unfortunately I have to leave a big question mark in your head. Again will pick up next week with the association between Messiah and then we will further work out some of the detail of this. What we want to have is a wonderful beautiful wedding cake here. Don't want a wedding cake and which you walk up to the front of it, and it looks so nice. And you walk around the back side and they didn't finish decorating it. The pillars are exposed, the tears, are there, everything is ugly. The Filling is dripping out. No, no, no, we're not doing that kind of Bible study were looking at the full. Think we're giving full attention all the way around 100% or the toilet 360-degree perspective. So we're going to make sure that we get this right we're not being sloppy and or Exposition here, we're being careful with the purpose and the reason we want so careful here, I want to point out this This is a big issue and what we determine here is a big point of Doctrine. And so if we stayed it one way or the other, we better have the data to support it. Cuz we're going to make a determination. We better make sure that we know that we can make that determination. So I'm also you're getting a wonderful pulling together. A thread The Prophecy from all over scripture. They're pulling you together to this one little concept, which is really how we build out that line, upon line upon type of teaching, understanding scripture that says, God has asked us to be engaged in. Let's just thank you for this time. We praise you and thank you for your word, which is true. And our desire is not to force the meaning on your word. Our desire is to know what your word says. Our desire is to understand it. So we pray for edification, we would find ourselves thinking about these things. I'm not thinking about you, Lord, if we are driven to worship you, because of your word, because of what your word says, then everything we have studied is successful and that Is the purpose of study it is. Worship of our God, and King understanding. His word is revealed word to us. And I, we thank you for this time. We pray, you administer to all those. We've prayed for you all in our congregation, not to be able to be here tonight. You administer that you would guide and lead them by the power of your spirit. Directing them in the Bible talked to him that they might think truth and Parole in our congregation you. I pray that you would lead us to those Divine appointment opportunity. Stratification, of those who know you and opportunities for preaching or sharing the true gospel into salvation for those people, Florida. We do pray that those we get to minister to would have ears to hear. They would have the ability to understand but they might be able to make a free-will response to your word Lord, for your car for caitian, the things we all pray in, Christ's name.
