Read Psalm 90:1
1 Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble,
There’s no place like home.

In this Psalm of Moses - probably the oldest Psalm in the Bible - is reminding us that man’s home isn’t in this world or even heaven - it is in GOD!!!
Be Exultant (We Are Travelers and God Is Our Home (vv. 1–2))
Numbers 33 names forty-two different places Israel camped during their journey, but no matter where Moses lived, God was always his home. He “lived in the Lord.” He knew how to “abide in the Lord” and find strength, comfort, encouragement, and help for each day’s demands. Moses pitched a special tent outside the camp where he went to meet the Lord (Ex. 33:7–11). This is the Old Testament equivalent of the New Testament admonition, “Abide in me” (see John 15:1–11). We must all make the Lord “our dwelling” (91:9).
He put it another way in Deut 33:27 “27 The eternal God is thy refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms: And he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; And shall say, Destroy them.”
Moses is reminding us of and celebrating the “eternity of God.” It was an eternal and solid theological fact as firm and lasting as Mount Sinai.
Home is a place of love
Home is a place of love
Home, as we all know, is the place where we are generally loved for our own sakes, and not for our gifts or possessions; the place where we are loved to the end, never forgotten, and always welcome. This is one idea of heaven. Believers are in a strange land and at school in this life. In the life to come they will be at home.674

Home is a place of shelter and security
A friend said to the six-year-old girl, “Too bad you have no home.”
“Oh, yes we have a home,” she replied promptly, “but no house to put it in.”

A home is no home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as for the body.

Home is a place of reality
Home is a place of reality
You never really know what a person is like until you live with them for a while.
God wants us to live with Him and he will show us what he is really like.
